he's probably the only good thing on NCIS:LA ....imo
Damn, it's taken offline. Where can I see it?!
Just watched the original and loved it!
But I kept wondering, why do they have flamethrowers and so many guns on a research base?
No teenager or teenage girls screaming and getting killed just like in every other horror film.
That's not true, if you ask me. Many people, including myself, consider them true horror films. Those films with Kreuger, Myers, Voorhees don't really count as a true horror films anyway. More like slasher, which is sub-genre of horror.
I think the atmospheric feel of the film will be ruined by the use of other locations, such as New York (as seen in the trailer), rather than keeping the whole movie in the Antartic base. Having global settings destroys the constant claustrophobia.
However keeping the whole film enclosed within the base just appears to be copying the original film. It's a lose lose situation.
I don't get why having a female character changes anything, personally I'm glad MEW is in it, I prefer movies that have females and not just a gang of sausage smugglers.
I'm assuming this was by Universal's Halloween Horror Nights.

Went to HHN tonight and saw the trailer. I was pretty underwhelmed by it as they didn't show "The Thing" unless it was a really really fast cut.
