All I have to say is one thing.
If the film makers decide to dedicate the film to Heath, there needs to be another name below his on the dedicated to list.
And that is of the stunt driver that passed away while MAKING the movie.
It would be out of good taste to equate one person's life as more important than anothers. Idc what their role is.
Thats all I have to say about that.

Well said. Very well said. The thing I always ask myself in dealing with the death of anyone is what would THEY have wanted, and Heath was no 'diva' to quote someone else in another thread. Troubled, sure, but who isn't on some level? He was a man just as important as any other and should be remembered with equal consideration. God bless the both of them.
think thats what I said, no matter. All I have to say is one thing.

I agree, if they are going to add a tribute message, it should be at the end. A simple message like "In memory of Heath Ledger" or something would be great. It worked for The Crow, it'll work for TDK.
My opinion is that a prologue from Nolan wouldn't be that great for a theatrical release, it might *just* work for a special edition release in the future (Think the special DVD release of Gladiator, it has Ridley Scott giving a short message before you play the movie) but that said, it probably won't happen.
Christopher Nolan should give a short prologue to the film in which he himself calmly and kindly tells the audience to enjoy the show, and not to keep their minds on the subject of Ledger's passing, as this isnt what Ledger would want.
Something like Hitchcock.
At the very least there should be a written notice at th begining, ala Dogma. It'd be a nice touch.
Yes.That would be thoughtful, but ultimately I feel would detract from the effect of the film. A few loving words at the end of the film I think would be more appropriate.
Something small at the beginning or the end would be great, for both Heath and the stunt man.just a title card that states "The following film is dedicated to the memory of Heath Ledger" or something to that effect.
Agreed."Dedicated to Heath Ledger" is enough.
To speak directly to the audience is just to kill the illusion. People should be allowed to feel the way they want about the film (or any film) or Ledger. And, in fact, they will, in spite of any kind of prologue anyway.
Either way.No, nothing at the beginning, only the end...
