Products Ps2 Superman Returns Video Game

How many cats has everybody found?

I have 15 out of 100.

I have the game. Played it for 40 mins. I like it so far. I bet you're thinking...40 MINUTES??! I'm a busy guy. Have a girlfriend and work and stuff so I don't get to play PS2 a wholte lot.

when do you have time to find cats in the game? every minute the city goes undersiege with dang criminals...i only found 3 cats so far, 64% done with the game

So you can't save planes?

Metropolis pedestrians don't snap pictures of the rare glimpse of Superman?

All which were said to happen in the game.

Is this game AS dissapointing as the actual movie?

No to planes, yes to blimps.

No, noone snaps pictures, they cheer and thank you for rescuing them though.

Personally, niether were dissapointing to me. I loved the movie and I'm really enjoying the game. They only thing I hated (yes it's past-tense) about the game were the controls and the camera angles, but I've got used to them now.

The game is very fun. You fly around and do cool stuff. . .. always fun.

I'm just glad you don't return to the beginning after you fail. I guess I'm about half way through the game thus far.

Is this game worth getting?

I'm a big Supes fan an was really looking forward to this game coming out. Watched all the preview videos but then the reviews started pouring out from IGN, Gamespot and the like and it was not good. Now it seems to be a mixed bunch of reviews from people who actually own the game. Is it good enough to validate me spending £40 on it, baring in mind i'm a poor student :woot:

I agree,I would rent it first.

no it's not... it's worth a rental at best.

I must have spent 3 hours last night, trying to beat Outkast.

How on earth do you do it, when he grows large ?

It is really annoying as you have to start at the beginning again, when he beats you.

Any hints would be appreciated.

I'm in the same boat (except that 3 hour part, I'd go fu(king nuts if I played for that long), I can't seem to get past that guy. He truely has my number.

Like the above poster mentioned, throw cars or whatever objects you can get, at him. Keep your distance. Supes has a pretty ridiculous range when using projectiles. You can also try waiting out some of his attacks and blocking the energy wave when it comes. Sometimes, my timing in tossing things at him was thrown off and it helped my to block and then pick up something.

The game was a disapointment.

I was hoping for William's music (it was in the trailer) or even Ottoman or Ken Thorne's effort.

Fighting Dragons was pathetic. I like that they used Mogul and Metello- but where was Lex & Krypton Island to fight on?

I was also hoping for Brainiac, Maxima, Lobo, Zod and Crew to show up- not Dragons!

I was hoping for more costume choices as well as going to the Fortress of Solitude or smallville.

You can't even be clark kent, see Lois or do anything remotely interesting.

It is ok - for a Superman game:whatever:
At least he can fly and use his powers in this one.

I like the game, but I wish I had the 360 version, not the PS2. I have 90/100 cats.
It's fun to just spend time being Superman, that's what roleplaying games are for.

I'm a big Supes fan

Thats where is worth getting it on Xbox 360, you can you use any music you want, i ripped the Superman The Movie soundtrack & the SR one & it really adds a different feel to the game.

If your a big supes fan you will love this game.

Flying around and using the powers is great- but there is very little to do in Metropolis.:csad:

No plane rescue, cars or buses dangling over bridges, no Zod, Lobo, BRAINIAC, LEX or Maxima to fight- they didnt even have new krypton in the game or a brawl with Lex!

All there is are the robots and Dragons.

I was hoping that you could at least become Clark Kent and do daily planet missions if you wanted (using powers, get in a bar brawl with Pepper Martin etc.).

I wanted to see Lexcorp towers, have the fortress or Smallville to fly to- or even go into space.

I just expected more fun and variation in the game- not the same 3-4 brawls with Robots and dragons.

It is the best Superman game to date- which is no real achievement.

If only Rockstar did a Superman game- there would be more variation and overall fun.

barely anything to do in metropolis... it's not even a non-linear game. It's worth a rental, because then you can have the joy of taking it back and saying to yourself "I'll never have to play it again."
