Yes it was. Easily Naughty Dog's worst project. I....kinda like the concept though. The Carver said:That game was a travesty.

the psp had tons of promise and was a good idea. but the games suck. the only game that people are interested in is gta. and that version will soon be on ps2 because it didnt sell alot on psp and they want some money off of it.
the ds offers alot of extreamly cool games and thats all that matters. everyone has an ipod pritty much, so why put mp3s on a poor mp3 player. and the umd movies are selling so bad, that all most all companies are done making them.
psp was a blunder for sony and ps3 is leaning towards being the number 3 home system.

Grand Theft Auto: Vice City Stories, Metal Gear Solid: Portable Ops, Crisis Core: Final Fantasy VII, Devil May Cry: Dance of Sparda and others

Like I said, the Playstation Portable offers you traditional handheld gaming while the Nintendo DS offers innovative handheld gaming. Sorta like the the Playstation 3/Xbox 360 compared to the Wii. Owning both is the best of both worlds. AND I HATE NINTENDOGSiambilly81 said:notice how most of the games are the same style, were ds has a big variety to keep your interest up. one day you can play a game like nintendogs and just mess with that all day, or go online and play mario kart.
The Nintendo DS may have had better holiday sales but over all the Playstation Portable has been selling more than the Nintendo DS in other months. The Nintendo DS will soon surpass the Playstation Portable when the Nintendo DS Lite is released but then go down again just like what happened with Nintendogs and Mario Kart DS.how did it detroy it, the numbers clearly show in USA the nintendo ds out sold the psp during xmas and beyond. and with the ds lite comming out, the ds line is growing even stronger. even the gba and gbmicro is selling well, even with a better nintendo hand held out there. in no way did sony detroy nintendo in the hand held market.

Sony destroyed Nintendo's monopoly on the handheld market because first of all, it is actually a successful competitor, unlike Sega, Atari, NEC, SNK, Nokia, and Bandai were. Sony is poised to have a very slim margin of victory in the North American and European markets. And unlike the other handhelds, the Playstation Portable actually has good games. There will be a Playstation Portable 2 mark my words!
True, but that doesn't stop me from hating that damn game.Spidey-Bat said:Once the new Game Boy comes out (which it will), traditional handheld games will be Nintendo's thing again.
Nintendogs is doing well and helping the DS. Though I doubt it will stay as the best-selling DS game for much longer.
My prediction, maybe it will happen, maybe it won't. Time will tell.Whether the Lite will sell well then go down is hard to tell. A lot of people waited for a new version and some people want to replace their DS.
With the way Sony has been doing business lately, you got a pointAssuming Sony has enough money left to make a PSP2.

I'm trying to justify buying it (I already have a regular DS) and the fact that it's a little smaller and it has a plug for the GBA slot just aren't doing it for me.
yep, especially with twin snakes on gc and solid in ssbb.hippie_hunter said:Konami is way too big for Microsoft to buy. Kojima will probally end up putting it onto a Nintendo console if Sony went under.
