Okay, so we watched this in a class...it was the first couple of episodes of the first season. Does the show hold up through all of the seasons? I'm thinking of renting them or something, but I'd like to know that first.

I've only seen the first two seasons and I'd say it holds up well.

I'm still enjoying it and I've watched every season from the beginning. Season 3 had some moments that felt a little emotionally overwrought, but that may just be my bias at work. I like Psych primarily as a comedy show rather than a drama, but I figure it's basically classified as a dramedy, so the drama has its place and others may enjoy it more than I do.

I'd recommend just outright buying all 3 seasons.

I second that recommendation. I blind brought season 1 and didn't regret it one bit.

One thing I've come to enjoy about Psych is its pitch-perfect casting, and this season (so far) has been no exception.

Four weeks ago, Ray Wise, who played the Devil on Reaper, played a priest in an episode centered around demonic possessions and exorcisms. But here's the granddaddy of all castings: Two weeks from now is an episode entitled "Let's Get Hairy," which according to the TV Guide description has Shawn and Gus...

investigating a possible lycanthropy case - in other words, werewolves. And that episode's guest star is none other than David Naughton, best known for his role in An American Werewolf in London!

I like the show and like the eppy, but the shows gets a FAIL for not making a Family Matters or Good Burger/All That/Kenen & Kel reference.

Kenan and Jaleel White were both great on this episode. This is one of my new favorites. I love when Shawn and his dad just sit there all interested when Gus and his ex-friends start b****ing at each other. All they needed was some popcorn.

I actually saw him on Attack of the Show the other week, he played Kanye when they made fun of the whole Kanye/Taylor Swift thing.
