"The Hulk" is not a bad film. I will say, however, that there are some big problems I have with it. Mainly, I despise Banner's pre-accident Hulk origins (what with the genetic tamperings of his father and so-forth) and the Evil Dad/Absorbing man after-thought of a villain. However, everything was pretty damn great.

Yet, if I could sum the film up in a nutshell, it would be "Heady". Not in a bad way, mind you. The movie well explored the yin/yang of Banner/Hulk, repressed emotions, the search for existential truths, etc.

If "Hulk" was about the mind, the sequel should aim for the body. (Yes, SEQUEL, a restart is DUMB)

The sequel should be a completely visceral, physical experience. The psychological turmoil of Banner has been explored enough in the first film. It may be touched upon again (as it well should), but a sequel should really be the heavy metal to the first film's classical. I want to see the Hulk just go ape****. I also want Jennifer Connely (soooo hot....want to touch the hiney) back. And Bana pwns, so he should come back to. But I digress.

With the origins out of the way, Hulk has room to just be that crazy, badass destruction machine we know and love.

i agree with you on this, Abomination is perfect for that and his comic book origin was made for this movie.

I agree, all those thing should happen in a SEQUEL, but by the sound of things, that is not what we are getting, we seem to be getting a stupid re-make, that will have non of the intelligence of the original.
