no, it's not just pants, it's your support for taking away liberty and dictating how a person can wear his clothes.JESUS! Its just pants. I don't want to see a person waddeling through the mall, because he thinks it is cool to walk around with his waste line around his knees, & trust me, I have seen pants that low. It is just stupid.

so you don't want to see someone wearing their pants like that? tough. you don't have the right not to and you don't have the right to not be offended.
F**k the Government.![]()
I just think that in public. A person should wear pants appropriately. In privacy I don't really give a rats a** what they do. I am just saying it isn't appropriate.
"appropriately" by your definition. who made you the arbiter of what is appropriate for someone else and why do you wish for the government to get involved? why are you against individual liberty? are you threatened by freedom?I just think that in public. Where's my new law that prohibits fat people from going anywhere but to work and the gym?![]()
if someone wants to wear their pants that way, let them. it has nothing to do with being threatened with discipline. what do you not get about the concept of individual liberty or personal responsibility? liberty is not childish. listen to you...telling people that they are incapable of enjoying freedom. yes, as long as you aren't harming someone else, then you should do as you please. hey, if someone harms themselves...that's their problem. wearing baggy pants isn't harming anyone. so since you believe people are incapable of enjoying freedom, you want to take it away. brilliant. simply brilliant. you are most certainly afraid of freedom and liberty and your posts continue to betray you.No I am not threatened by freedom. Are you threatened by a little discipline? I swear we as Americans act like children some times. Demanding that we be allowed to do what ever we want, when ever we want, but sadly time after time some of us has shown that we are incapabable of enoying that freedom. Without doing harm to our selves, or to others.
oh, please. spare me the histrionics. what a freaking reach you're making. so let's ban people wearing baggy pants instead of cracking down on gang activity. let's ban cars and crosswalks since they put innocent people at risk as well. let's just toss all personal responsibility aside. That fact that saggy pants is a gang thing can automatically put anyone around that person at risk. Anything gang related can put anyone in the cross fire. I am against anything that puts innocent people at risk. I am also against stupidity in general. That person with the saggy pants may not even be a gangsta, but some one who is could walk by. Thus putting every one that immediate area at risk.
"the gang phobia".

Yes those extremely nice passive people that use guns as a means of peace.![]()

now there's another ignorant statement.

The politics of fear is wasted on me. But if you want to act like this

with regard to terrorism, gangs, or whatever else, go ahead. But that's not a valid reason to pass unnecessary laws
I've outgrown the need of a domineering parental figure in my life.
I guess you haven't Max Carnage

no doubt, but that isn't the government's role. nor is it yours. But, it seems that a good portion of society hasn't.
I mean it is just a person pulling up their pants.
I never said it was mine. That is why I never entered in to politics, & don't own a gun. I would use both un-favorably. These are just my beliefs in how to get the country back in order.
Pretty much everybody on this board admits society is stupid. This is my own personal solution to that. Treat them like they were five. Sadly you would have to do this to everyone, but eventually society would get back on track, & the leash could be loosened.
