Punisher War Journal's Been Delayed

According to the comics on sale section of marvel.com punisher war journal will begin it's run in november rather than september...just as civil war is ending?????

Wow, overreacting much? Punisher War Journal wasnt even going to directly tie-in to Civil War other than the whole villains with badges thing, its no different than Iron man's Civil War tie-in happening so late. Relax.

is Punisher War Journal tieing directly into the civil war mini such that it's important in ships in a particular month? no

Does DC actually have a worse track record than Marvel for late books? yes

Did Civil War set a modern sales record? yes

Do you have a freudian fascination with blaming everything wrong in the world on whoever is most visibly in control of Marvel at the time being? yes

I'm not angry, I'm just stupifiied, I mean we thought it couldn't get any worse than CW#4 being out 3 weeks after it's tie-ins but this is just daft and the cover suggests that some time around october cap will have dealings with frank and we'll get large chucks of each issue spoilt by other titles. Frank is one of my favourite characters, just for the simple fact that the man just don't give a ****! I was really looking forward to these

Maybe they delayed it, because they are changing Civil War itself. Didnt issue four get pushed back to the end of this month? I wonder whats going on?

true true, but I've actually gone out and bought every single title for civil war and it's costing me a bloody fortune and the one tie-in other than CWYA&R and X-factor that I was really looking forward to was late. And I may have overreacted but christ they've been planning this thing pretty since before dissasembled if we're to believe the trilogy theory so how can a two month delay occur, a book slips a month, fair enough but 2 and we're still a month away from it's original intended release date anyway!

I admit it's not joe q's fault, I just can't believe they'd **** it up so bad, civil war has been otherwise superb, and after house of m...it's just not the sort of publicity marvel needs right now.

Fraction is also co-writing Iron Fist so maybe that came into facotr as well.

Oh well,at least Iron Fist and PWJ launch in the same month.

Yes that could be it. And i agree, atleast there coming out in the same month. I can't wait for both titles, but patience is a virtue.

the delay definitely does suck but it's not really that bad. we'll still get to see the punisher make his big return to the marvel universe within the civil war and i'm hoping he'll make more than just one appearance... and by the time civil war is over, the new war journal will be launching.

I find it's best to take a "it'll get here when it gets here" attitude. Worrying about such things isn't really productive, and there's always plenty of good stuff to read
