In a few weeks, this new on-going of Frank Castle coming back to MU is will come out. He'll enter the Civil War and also eliminate all villains we all come to now. A new video of the series as hit marvel.com and it really has some spoilers.

While that, it will also explain why Frank is tracking down the villains and it also seems to give us a look see as to why Frank mught side with the Anti-Reg.

Discuss. :unishr:

Agreed.

That was sweet! Now that's how you do a comic trailer! The WW Hulk should have been more like this.

It was a great trailer, and the art for the book looks great.

I also want my old school costumed Punisher back. I love the MAX series but miss his interaction with the superheroes of the Marvel Universe. I ordered the black and white cover as well from my comic book store.

I'm getting both varients, and I agree on the fact that Punisher will be with the other heroes again. Instead of just guest starring, he'll have his own title and we can see other heroes guest starring for once.

I don't want the spandex back. I hope those panels are from a flashback. Much like Wolverine, it really doesn't fit the Punisher's character to be wearing body hugging spandex.

If you kow the Punisher, then you'd know that this is his original suit.

Of course I know it's his original; that's why I wondered if it might be a flashback. Anyway, I prefer the T-Shirt and cargo pants look w/ the leather trench coat thrown in from time to time because it seems like a natural evolution for the character- Punisher is a pretty reality-based character, so it makes sense for him to wear a more down-to earth costume. Plus, Frank's a macho guy and tights just seem pretty flamboyant (not something an Ex-Marine would wear). Still, we each have our preferences, and it seems like we're going to get a little of everything in this book. Huzah!

Well, it does seem from time to time he'll just have the shirt with some pants. Like we saw in the preview when he goes against Stilt-Man. But, since the MU pretty much differs from the MAX title, it's a given that he has his classic suit. Plus, when he first appeared, he was in that suit, and the title wasn't a MAX title. As for flash backs, it seems we will be getting some. In the trailer I posted, we see Frank young and in his marine days and being trained by Cap.

And as nostaligically sweet as that may be, does anybody want to see Jean Grey in this costume again?

Change isn't always for the bad. As nice as it was to see The Punisher wearing the exact same costume as Nick Fury only with a skull, it really makes more sense for him to be wearing a black t-shirt, military pants, and a trench coat. It just seems a bit more practical and helps get the point across that the Punisher isn't a superhero, he's a guy with guns who kills criminals.

That would be good for Jean. But like I said and others here, there's a reason as to why he has the suit back.

all you shmucks better drop New Avengers,Wolverine Origins,or whatever other crap you're reading and PICK UP this goddamn book along with IIF of course

Well Punisher be able to kill villains in this title and if he is allowed to kill villains, will any of them be above Z-list goobers like Stilt-Man?

I'll definitely be checking this out. If it sucks or is just plain mediocre, there is always the Punisher MAX which kicks all kind of ass.

Punisher being one of my absolute favorites next to Ghost Rider, I must say, I do enjoy the black combat boots, military pants, t-shirt, and trench coat a helluva lot more than that white suit ****. It was great for its time but nowadays it just looks plain ol goofy to me after seeing his more modern look.

To make everyone happy i think for when he does recon, kills your basic gangsters or thugs, etc he should wear his MAX/Movie outfit, but when he goes for big game villains like Rhino he should wear the classic. It be awesome if they switched it up.

In a Wizard mag a few months back, they had an interview with the writer Matt Fraction and he was explaining how he'd have Punisher take down certain villains. Dr. Doom was one of them, so who knows.

I think he will. In the previews, by day he has the t-shirt with the skull and pants and at night he has his classic custome. That skecth right there looks awesome and I to hope he'll have it in some issues.

Ordinarily I'd complain about the Hulk-sized arms, but they looks so ****ing badass that I can't bring myself to say anything negative.

I think it looks fine, Frank's been none to have prep-time and his backround of being a marine is also a reason. So having him look that big is ok. In the preview, however it's not exactly the same. :unishr:
