AD, can you ask him about Mandarin's look. Will JF use Mandarin's version from comics or he will create his own vision?

And will Stark have physic problems?

He just explained that above. Physic problems is explained way above...somewhere.

Thanx.

I have another 2 questions:

1) What company will be making vissual and CGI efefcts for movie?

2) How much action sequences will there be?

^ He's been asked that but not answered. Surely more than one company will handle the F/X and CGI. He was asked that but he never said who. I'll ask again.

Favreau did mention that there would be a lot of flying sequences.

Ok, then another question.

Will he use some stuff from The Aviator?

How will Favreau compensate for his poor directing abilities?

That's kind of a loaded question, did you ask that about Chris Nolan as well? What poor directing abilities? All 3 of his movies are fresh on RT.

I'm not saying that Favreau is a bad director, but the freshness of his movies on RT doesn't really say or mean anything.

^It means the critics liked it. Favreua's films have all been solid and most people I know really enjoyed Elf, and many never saw Zathura till video and loved it.

I though Elf was not bad movie, but I didn't like Zathura.

But anyway, I think IM will be awesome movie :)

Yeah, but no-one cares what the critics think anymore.

I liked Elf though:)

If the Mandarian is cast as a current day Moriarity from China, reflecting the growing economic and political influence of the Chinese economy in today's world, I think we'll have a villian that could probably be the best we've seen in a long time. May even make this movie the blockbuster it should be. Your hero is only as good as the villians he goes up against.
If brains using brawn/technology is the direction of this movie, as opposed to just brawn/technology being thrown against each other for the fireworks only, this movie could address many socio-economic events without being overloaded with 'a message'.
I am really looking forward to seeing this thing once it's finished.
Hey Jon, thanks for your time and good lick with the movie!
Best regards,
The InkSlinger

In this interview, Fav talks a bit more about Iron Man:

Oh man, I love how Jon summarized Iron Man in that interview. Never hought of the character this way, but when I thought about it, it's dead on:

Jon Favreau said:
He's a bit paradigmatic for what America is. He represents technology, inspiration, a certain adolescent enthusiasm, but there's also a bit of immaturity and there's a clumsiness about him at times, too, where he might be too powerful for his own good. I think a lot of people view us [Americans] that way. So, not only are we telling a story to ourselves, but also a story we're telling to the rest of the world on how we see ourselves. So, to me, Iron Man is representative of America in a lot of ways and I welcome that.

please not imageworks,

what's wrong with imageworks??
They made kickass Superman flying sequences, kick ass Matrix robot fight sequences, (infact when I saw the part when the sentinals were trying to break in, I thought how cool would it be if Iron Man was fighting those things), they've made countless other great effects for great movies, Narnia, Aviator, Harry Potter and they're Academy Award winners
I for one, am very excited a company of thier calibre is taking on Iron Man

I have no problem with Imageworks, they'll do a great job.
