I consider her to basically be keeping the bands warm until Annihilus' spirit leaves them to join his reborn body and terrorize the cosmos anew. Then Wendell will be free from constantly fighting Annihilus on the astral plane or whatever, and he can manifest himself as a living construct, just like in Nova's dream/future vision. Then Wendell can make a permanent sword construct for Phyla and literally nothing will have changed for her, since that's all she uses the bloody quantum bands to make anyway.

Yeah, I batted my eyelashes, too. But by the time he died, Niceiza had so thoroughly nerfed him that I didn't feel all that bad about it. Kind of like how I went from being a giant Cassandra Cain fan to hoping she dies soon to spare her from any further ****ing over at the hands of people who have no idea how to write her.
