Quentin Tarantino's Once Upon a Time in Hollywood

But he offered it as one. It wasn't just widespread release and it's not on home video (yet).

So what you're saying is to own the movie to this day, I still have to buy 2 movies. Got it

No, I'm saying that Kill Bill being a single film is a real thing. It was made, finished and screened. Why is it not on shelves? Don't ask me. It's probably Disney, or Miramax or I don't know who else to blame.

But ultimately who is to blame doesn't matter. Kill Bill exists as 2 films. Whether QT likes it or not or wishes to acknowledge it as 1 movie or 2. That's the point.

It exists as both 2 films and as 1. So it can be considered as 1. It's justified.

I bet that's not what QT says when he gets that paycheck for both movies. I bet he cashes checks for both movies all the same and doesn't say "I'm sorry, but I should only be paid for 1 movie...since it is 1 movie"

Watching this argument go on for multiple pages

Tarantino is a Big Cheese in the biz - powerful enough to brand himself and promote his films any way he wants. So if he considered “Kill Bill” to be one movie, presumably he’d adjust his personal credit/tagline accordingly. I.e., he’d call Once Upon A Time in Hollywood the “8th film from QT.” But he does not. :word:

A bit unrelated but has anyone else seen this thing about Tarantino potentially doing a Star Trek movie lol usually love his films but that sounds like a very weird combination.

Him developing a ST movie has been known for a while. Just hasn't had much news until he recently said he has a script to look over now. We don't know if he will just be involved as a producer or direct it though. I don't think he has decided that yet.

I just seen multiple articles and honestly was confused when I seen it wasn't April. Not a director and a IP that I ever thought would be connected.

I view Kill Bill as one film because the second one sucked so badly that I refuse to acknowledge that it exists.

I see Empire are only putting effort into their subscriber issue's these days....:whatever:

What if Nicholson's role is an older version of Leo's character? The similarity between Leo and Nicholson has always been a small joke on the web
