Question about a joke in the movie...

it wasnt supposed to be a joke, but it was funny just how he deliverd the line..it wasnt meant to be sexual at all, you people are reading way too much into it...he's not even really talking about the pie there, he's talking about how good it felt to just totally screw peter over there

I'm still laughing at that gif... hahahaaaa hooo... Um, yeah, people laughed because of the double entendre that "pie" implies, especially with that grin he makes. It doesn't mean that he "hit it" so to speak, but knowing that he's keeping it from Pete feels good.

I have to agree that this is by far my favorite scene in the film. Franco owned this movie.

Being Bad Has Never Felt.....

Harry was just a fckin' prick... loved everything about that performance. He just broke Peter in a way his father never could. It was GREAT!

I just loved the way he said the line. I could've just jumped in his lap, given him a kiss and I'm afraid I've gone too far already ;).

You'd just do that anyway....and I've gone too far......as always :csad:

I've missed you buddy... I damn sure hope that wasn't a unintentional quote... if it was, take it in-context to this conversation.

Since I don't care about message board boundries, I will go off-topic and say that dad is moving back out to the middle of beach-land (you know, the cottage) and has promised me the computer. So, sometime soon, I'll hopefully be spending many hours wasting my precious homework time to have enlightening chats with you. Till later :).

HUZA!!!!!!!

Speak to you then then.too bad you didn't like Spidey 3...:csad:

i thought it was hilarious when pete was like "get me some milk", and ursula jumped at the opportunity

HAHAHA

That line always received pretty good feedback at the shows that I've been in.

When Peter left the restraunt after talking to Harry:
Waitress: How's the pie?
Harry: *smiles* So good...

If this was a sexual joke, I missed it. I got all the other ones in the movie but not this. It got big laughs from the theater.

So what does this mean?
think of the movie "American Pie"

isnt 'pie' another meaning for like a hot girl or somethingl ike that?

I really wish they'd have had Peter act a little more like this when he turned "bad". That line, and Franco's performance in general were perfect.

I laughed because it was somewhat awkward. The audience in our theater laughed, but it was tentative.

Harry stole the show ^____^ I always was indifferent about him in the first 2, but this time, when he was doing like...just all those little scenes with the pie, and the winking, and those damn winning smiles. He was simply the best.

I think for that particular line Harry was using the pie as a metaphor for his revenge. I could be way off though.

That's what I took it as as well. And everyone in my theater laughed, but it was more that they were laughing at how bad Harry was in that scene. He was so nasty it made you laugh.

the waitress was refering to the pie
harry answered her in regards to the pie but was thinking about how good it just felt to burn peter

other than revenge "tasting sweet," there's not any edible analogies there.

the line refered to his revenge on pete, but my audience laught at the why Harry said it, so hiliarious
also like when pete turned back and harry winks genius.

and when petes like "aw little goblin gonna cry"

those are some great line there
