Oh, so this dude attacks you in your dreams/nightmares right? How come nobody takes advantage of the fact that you can control your dreams sometimes and messed with Freddy right back?

They did. There is usually one person who realizes it and puts up a fight, but gets killed anyway. I'm not sure which movie, but one guy decided that since it was his dream, he would be a super-hero and fight him. It worked for a while, but Freddy is bascially a dream God, so he can do whatever he wants to in your dreams as well, and he can't be hurt whereas you can.

in 3 they f**ked with him like that, but Freddy cancles out the control you have over the dreams, because it's his world...think of it as an alternate demnsion where he's in control

The one that you are talking about is Part 5. That one is pretty cool. The dude turns himself into a comic hero, but freddy takes it literally, & turns him into a paper comic hero. Freddy then Proceeds to shred his punk a** up!

Ha, with me, when I'm actually aware that I'm dreaming, it's almost always a nightmare, and usually focused on waking up/escaping.

I can easily wake myself up. I just close my eyes really tight while I'm dreaming. If I am in the middle of a dream and you talk to me your speech will be apart of my dream. Like once when I was really little My mom was like "Get up! You're late for school!" and in my dream I was down the street from my house and I was chasing a skunk and I yelled back "Hold on lemme just catch this skunk. Then I was like. Wait a sec, there's no skunks in my Neighborhood! I really do need to go to school! Then I closed my eyes really tight and I got out of bed. Also if I have a dream where I am falling or being thrown, I wake up right before impact and I wake up being thrown across the room. It's weird. My sister calls me freak boy because of my dream capabilities.

I thought that's what the Dream Warriors were, they simply lacked imagination.
I am a championship lucid dreamer and I must say that Freddy even lacks imagination.
I'm sure this is due to budget constraints however.

Strange that no one has done a new NOES with psycho-delic, impossible, reality-bending CGI murders.

dont get me wrong there is some kick ass film posters in todays market, but there something extra cool about the old fashioned ones
