Question about vodka.

okay, so i have a small ketchup bottle of smirnoff vodka stashed in my closet (18, can't legally drink yet). so the question is, since it's been stashed there for over a month, will it go bad?

Never tried ketchup as a mixer before. Maybe you should go traditional with coke, lemonade or red bull before advancing to the more exciting stuff.

Like others have said, it depends on if there was any ketchup left in the bottle. If the bottle was thoroughly cleaned before you put the vodka in, it should be just fine.

I doubt the vodka would go bad. If you hadn't washed the ketchup bottle, it would taste like ketchup, but it wouldn't be "bad."

Alcohol does a pretty good job at killing cells. Depends on what proof it is, though. I work in a lab and we use the equivalent of 140 proof vodka to sterilize our bench space.
