Quicksilver vs. Quicksilver: Which version did you prefer the most?

The problem with Evan’s, Pietro (God I hated Peter) was the writers didn’t do anything with his character in both films. We learned in DOFP/Apocalypse he is the son of Magneto but the writers just left that untold. What I loved most about WATX magneto and quicksilver relationship is that he was a failure in Magneto’s eyes, never could do right. All he wanted to do was please his father which I think resonates with a lot of young men. Fox could have easily told that story if they didn’t use the Dark Phoenix story again. What also could have been good if Pietro did go with Magneto at the end of Apocalypse and in the next film we saw their relationship dissolve that maybe he grew tired of wanting a mutant vs human war and that caused issues with Magneto. TBH I actually like the twins however I didn’t like the fact they were always in Magneto’s shadow. I get it that they bring a different side to Eric, but they are interesting on their own.
My hope is that Evan sticks around and let’s see what Marvel can do with his character.

I found Aaron Taylor Johnson to be extremely bland. I much prefer Evan Peters version of Quicksilver

Glad to see we are going to see more of Peters’ Quicksilver going by what just occurred in WandaVision

Even though he was underutilized in subsequent X-MEN movies, Peters's Quicksilver is still overall miles above Johnson's.

In ATJ's defense, he was hardly given any material worth a damn and then his Quicksilver was promptly killed off.

Evan Peters is the no-brainer choice here for me, though I wish circumstances were different for ATJ and the MCU Quicksilver.

I like to see how this Quicksilver unfolds. But in regards to the ATJ vs. EP debate. As much as I love the Time in the bottle scene in DOFP, it was a filled place holder over what was originally planned in the Juggernaut. Peters went on to have his DOFP scene repeated in Apocalypse and having his development essentially erased in DP.
