Ok, so how the hell did Meet the Spartans beat out Rambo? Lame.

Rambo was absolutely awesome.

I was in the theatre and the manager kicked out 10 kids for sneaking in that bought tickets for Spartans. So buying tix for that thing, but wanting to see Rambo doesn't really help box office wise.

Kids, dude, the kids want to see that crap.

But yeah, Rambo was awesome!

yeah, as long as dumb ass kids want to see those dumb ass movies, they are going to continue to make them. What the hell is the point of those anyway? Other than money? Nothing.

I can't believe how good Rambo was. Given the acting from the chick was bad, everything else was quite good. The CGI wasn't too shabby either and all the explosions / deaths were just...Well, what's a better word for awesome? That's the one I'd say.

Stupid kids.

Same thing happened at a co-workers showing saturday night, he said a crowd (he said like 8) of teenagers came in late and started trying to find seats, a minute later ushers came in with flashlights, they ended up stopping the movie to kick the kids out.

You know I would not mind a spin-off featuring the mercinary group. They were pretty bloody cool.

Julie Benz performance was excellent.

As a side note, a mother (I'm assuming the mother) brought her kid to the showing I went to. The kid had to be younger then 10 years old (probably 7 or 8 if I had to guess). I figured she'd leave after the first bloody death, but they stuck out for the entire movie. I'm predicating therapy for the kid in the near future. :wow:

Wow...:csad: that's sick.

(great movie, by the way. 8/10)

Do you guys think I would like this if I only liked the first, original, Rambo?

I don't think you'd have problem enjoying this one even if First Blood was the only previous "Rambo" you liked. I think this was just a great action movie. Really brought the series full circle.

I would like to convince myself that that's the reason why "Spartans" won. I'm trying my hardest not to lose all faith in humanity.

Manager should've let the kids stay just for having good taste! :woot:

I don't know how you got that impression from us all gushing over how awesome it was.

Yeah, it sucked so much I gave it the lowest score possible, a 10 out of 10.

I was surprised how much I enjoyed this film. A few problems, but other then that it was pretty damn good.

10/10
