The added extra footage is basicly the deleted scenes. But when cut back into the movie I think you get a different feel not only for Rambo but also the Rambo/Sarah relationship. By the way I'm not the best at putting my thoughts into words so what I write may not be what I exactly want to say. I think in the extended cut Rambo seems to be more like the First Blood part 2 Rambo. Not sure how to really explain what I mean. I also think you get a better feel for Rambo being protective of Sarah. Not sure what else to say because to me those thing stood out to me as the biggest improvements. If you guys have any questions about the movie or you just don't understand what I'm saying just ask and I'll try to give a good clear answer. Like I said in the recent movie thread I think this cut is worth the double dip. By the way I have a question for those who have the compleat dvd collection set. Do you hav the metal tin version or the card board slip case version? I have only seen a few of the metal tin versions. I didn't see another tin for moths after I bought mine, which a local Wal Mart put out early.

I have the metal tin version yet now I want to sell it because I KNOW they will release another Rambo Anthology in Blu-Ray with the new version included...

I was kinda surprised the compleat BR collection still only had the regular version.

Are the extra scene's all character stuff? If so is it all Rambo and Sarah or is there a bit more?

Yes, it's basicly just Rambo and Sarah stuff. I haven't watched the regular version in while but I thought the real Buma footage at the first of the movie has a few extra shots in it and I thought the scene where Rambo is catching the Snakes was a tad longer. As I said before basicly the deleted scene where edited back into the movie.
He doesn't know, he can't explain it.

And I said I'm not good at explaining things, I really do suck at putting my thoughts into words. And Maybe to clear one other thing up when I mentioned Rambo seems more like the FB2 Rambo I ment the character and not the movie it's self, I may be the only person to think this so I guess it my opinion rather than something every body is gonna think.

So I was actually a little wrong on what's included. I read on another board that I post on that some parts of the movie where re-edited. And this review from Amazone will probaly help you guys more than I did or can: http://www.amazon.com/Rambo-Extende...tBy=bySubmissionDateDescending#R2SOZVGLEW97FB

Why didn't they release the extended cut on (region2) DVD? I can't find it anywhere and I'd love to see it.
