Correct e if I am wrong, but WB didn't actually produce Superman IV, right? I know they played a role in distribution, but I believe that is a Cannon Films movie. But I could be wrong.

They didn't produce any of the first 4 Superman films. The Salkinds were the producers and WB distributed. WB bought Superman rights in 1993.
