I'm curious as to what you find so terrible about the franchise. Do you not like Raimi's style? Don't like Tobey? Are you just not a fan of Spider-man?

The second two things you asked, and there's only 5 films to choose from. The only one I'm meh on is SM3.

Basically it comes down to me liking Garfield (as Spiderman at least) a lot more than Tobey. I don't think Tobey's a bad actor, those movies just weren't my thing.
