Olsen was overdone, he should have played him a little more reserved.

1.) Brandon Routh as Superman: He is MY Superman. He will BE Superman for a lot of this generation. I LOVE and respect what Chris Reeve did, but he wasn't from my generations time. He was our Superman by default. My age group finally has a great Superman to call our own.

2.) Tristan Lake Leabu as Jason White: He was phenominal. Dekota Fanning gets all this press for being a great actress...but she's not even a KID. She talks like a 30 something. This kid, was just that...a kid. Believable, cute, and very real...HE made his story work, when everything about it could have gone wrong.

3.) James Marsden as Richard White: The second hero of the film. He was perfect to show just how strong the HUMAN spirit is. That humans are not HELPLESS and that we have the courage to go into a situation knowing we won't come back. I think he inspired Superman to go back to fight Lex, facing almost certain death lifting New Krypton. But after witnessing Richard, a normal man, sacrafising it all to go back ATTEMPTING to save his family.....how could Superman not do the same for his adopted world and call himself a hero?


Other notables were deffenetly Sam Huntington as Jimmy Olsen, and Kevin Spacey as Lex Luthor.

This is probably one of the few films where I liked the entire cast. I thought each of them were perfect. I liked Jimmy, Richard, Jason, Perry and Kitty K also.
