You all know the name is supposed to mean "the Demons Head", right?
I don't know how many of you pronounce it as Raysh, but it is Raas, as in their is a length in the 'a', that is for head
Ghul (Ghoul) means Ogre, not demon, demon is Jinnee. Are Ogres demons? No

Only good thing about it, Raas AlGhuul sounds better than Raas AlJinnee

I bet it will be painful for you to see your language soiled by foreigners and misused

I like the way the name is called, but to think how it's just wrong makes my face cringe sometimes

You'd be surprised how common it is.

In Spanish language countries the film Grease was translated as "Vaseline starring John Travolta."

And Ogre's in your culture are more like Shrek rather than monsters?
Demons/Monsters whatever, it's all the same. The Demon's Head sounds cooler than The Ogre's Head. And everyone pronounces it "Raas Al Ghou"

No, that's a very different movie...

An Ogre is a creature from fairy tales, pure fiction
Demons have good and bad ones, they do really exist

That sums it up if you care for a perspective from my culture

Dennis O' Neil and Neal Adams pronounce it "Raysh Al Ghoul", so that's the correct way of pronouncing the character's name. They created him and therefore can call him whatever they want, even if the translation is wrong. So maybe Adams screwed up what Ra's Al Ghul really means, but I prefer to think of demons rather than Mike Myers when I hear the name.

I see my language soiled by people from my own country all the time.

In Arabian folklore

In ancient Arabian folklore, the ghūl (Arabic: غول , literally demon)[3] dwells in burial grounds and other uninhabited places. The ghul is a devilish type of jinn believed to be sired by Iblis.[4]

Ghoul (Arabic: غول‎) is a desert-dwelling, shapeshifting demon that can assume the guise of an animal, especially a hyena.

Oh, it is. Every time I see some foreigner mispelling color, humor, behavior, etc.

Seriously though, it's just words.

I want to marry this thread and have babies with it.

You do know that Julius Schwartz came up with the name. He was the one who told Denny that it meant "the Demon's head"
