I would have to go with what Randal said about LOTR, because what he said was true 100%. AOTC was better than 3 of those movies put together.

Id say something like 4. Reason? I feel Lucas is more interested in basic idea and sfx as opposed to being a craftsman.

Episode I - 4 out of 10

Episode II - 6 out of 10

Episode III - dont know. I stopped caring after 2.

Episode IV - yuck. 3/10

Episode V - 4/10

Episode VI -5/10

Total - 4 out of 10.

Not really a fan.

I love Star Wars far more than LOTR, but I was under the impression he had said Attack of the Clones was better than LOTR. Frankly, a giant pile of **** is a better film than AOTC.

You misunderstand me. Star Wars was my muse and source of obsession when all I knew was the OT. And I was happy then. But now that the PT has been made so horribly, I weep for all of us who expected better.

That ends in a seven. But I'll pretend the PT never existed, making it 8.8, but I'll round up to 9.

I'd rank them the same, maybe a more generous 8 for ROTJ since the space battle was incredible.
