The Amazing Spider-Man 2 Rate Electro's costume/design

I really dig the new look, and seeing this pic on Entertainment Weekly has gotten me even more excited. 9/10

I gave it a 10/10 simply because this is exactly, to the T, what I was envisioning.

I really liked what they did with his skin but since it's not the greatest of shots of his actual costume I'm only giving it an 8 for right now. The lightningbolt on the side of his arm is a nice comic booky touch.

I was hoping they would have thrown a bit of yellow and green in the suit, dark shades though. Give him a bit of 616 and Ultimate look.

Once they announced Rhino was in this, I was way more excited to see what he's going to look like. Mainly because that character can be soooo easy to screw up visually in a live action film.

It's still premature. I'd have to see the full thing and also Jamie Foxx in action with it on. For now though I'd say a solid 7/10 with much room for improvement based on how it looks on the big screen.

I'm in the same boat. I really like the design and from one pic to the next he gets better visually. I still need to see some more pics before I make a decision. Even then it may not be accurate. I remember how leading up to ASM I was hesitant to like the Spidey suit...it grew on me little by little until I was blown away at how much I enjoyed seeing it in action.

Not perfect, but still good. It's pretty comicbook-y which makes me wonder if they could have it done in 616 colours, but muted so they're not so overpowering.

Electro certainly looks menacing. Wouldn't want to mess with him, that's for sure.

The Lizard never came off as much of a threat in TASM (except for maybe the sewer scene where he is clawing at Peter's chest), which is a big issue IMO.

I like how his ears look melted, as I hoped. He looks like a burn victim gone haywire. The suit reminds me of TSSM which is a good thing. I am super excited. 9/10 thusfar. I like the blue/purple in his skin too. Looks great!

Let me just say as someone who HATED how badly they ****ed up the design of the Lizard--and still do, what a waste of such a visually cool villain--this looks absolutely FINE.

It is not great, but it is fine. I actually would have given him a trench coat and gone for something just a little more similar to the USM look, but close enough. I like the blue, I like the translucence, etc.

The "Starfish Man" of the comics would have never worked. This is a fine adaptation of the character. And Spidey has arguably never looked better. The costume is AT LEAST just as good as it was in SM2 and SM3 and a HUGE STEP UP from the eyesore in TASM.

Right now, my worries are with an overstuffed script. But visually? It looks great.
