The money shots are Spider-Man holding the ferry together with his webs, along with the Spider-Man/Iron Man shot at the very end. I think that's good enough. This was a solid trailer.

I'd give the trailer a 7/10

Which might seem a little low

but.............

For a teaser trailer for a movie that doesn't come out for another 7 months , I think it did just what it needed to do , nothing overly exiting , kind of by the numbers , showed the tone of the movie , showed the main characters , and pretty much none of the story

The overall reaction to the trailer has been very positive , the reason I gave it 7/10 is because you know we haven't seen nothing yet , 90% of the CGI shots probably aren't even done yet

My rating is a bit higher, like 8/10, but I agree with your points. This is how I feel about the majority of MCU teasers.

The next trailer will have to do a lot more though, and I'm sure it will deliver.

Solid 7/10 from me as a movie/CBM fan.

As a Spider-Man fan, I would bump it up to 8.

The audience at my showing of Rogue One was tepid. We've seen Spidey like five times already so it's not really a big thing anymore, but hopefully the movie shows us something new.

I don't understand how Baby Boss got tons of cheering along with Wonder Woman. I'm a little surprised. Those movies look EHH.

It doesn't need to be something new necessarily, the movie just needs to be really good. Bad editing, plots and writing have plagued the past two to three Spidey movies--I think more than anything, that's what people are tired of. Spidey is still a very popular, enjoyable character. Surround him with a quality film and he'll win over the crowd once again.

Yes, I never bought into there being a "Spider-Man fatigue." There is a "bad Spider-Man movie" fatigue. Three bad films in a row will get people to lose interest.

You know Spider-Man's line in the trailer, "this is my chance to prove myself" when he climbs up the Washington monument? That line basically describes the movie and the franchise as a whole.

Actually, three questionable films along with a reboot most didn't want on top of another reboot after only two films of that new series.

6/10, it was fine but it didn't really make me feel anything after the initial viewing.

someone should change name of topic. now everytime I see name I instantly click it thinking new trailer come out :D

I'm hopeful for Wonder Woman, fwiw.

Baby Boss was absolutely the crowd favorite where I was, unfortunately, but the fact that it was a young crowd helped a lot. That does not look fun.

:applaud: Very well put, hadn't considered it that way. But yeah, we could have a million Spidey films and as long as they're well made, the audience will be there.

I thought that was a little bit meta, too.

If the movies start being REALLY good again, people will come watch.

I didn't notice it until someone said it in the comments on the youtube video but you can see the Statue of Liberty in the background in the ferry shot.
It's subtle but I love it. Beautiful shot in my opinion.

I love the sound that Vulture makes when you see him close up. His breathing.
