Rate The Batman teaser trailer

Just a small FYI (because no one got incensed or challenged me over it like I was hoping ) but I was actually joking when I said I rate it a three.

I was going to ask you why because I remember you saying you liked what you saw but I was eating. So was like meh and focused on my homemade burger

Can't remember the last time a cbm trailer impressed that much and made me watch it so many times!

Not even the one from Avengers: IW, which was, by far, the movie I was most excited about from the MCU.

10/10. It did exactly what I needed it to for me personally. It made me hyped for the movie and eased my mind a bit about Pattinson who I haven't been able to be fully on board with.

Considering that they only had a fraction of footage and I'd say they did a great work with the teaser. It made it look like they already had most of the film shot.

I will say that after Batman takes down that guy - the trailer starts this momentum like it's going to keep going for a bit - then it just ends.

The batsuit is a big negative for me with this movie. But the trailer's tone and footage was beautiful and sold me immediately. The trailer made me completely overlook my dislike for the suit. I'm in.

10/10! I knew Reeves and co wouldn't disappoint! If the leaks was right this universe will be grounded mixed with some comic goodness ( aka this isn't going to be as grounded as Nolan Batman Fans )!

I'm stingy in my ratings. I give it an 8. Its a really solid trailer, delivering a pretty effective impression of a new take on Batman. I like that they used the classic "Batman visiting a crime scene" framework, I like Bruce helping people dive to safety in his civilian ID. I like the aesthetics of his outfit and Batmobile.

I dock it 1 point for the implications of a Court of Owls connection, and 1 point for being a trailer, and thus fundamentally not fully trustworthy.
