Very good trailer, glad marvel has gone dark and gritty for this as it suits the character.

It was good. If this was an original property and I were just going by this trailer, though, I don't think I'd get around to seeing it.

I have to wonder how much AKA Jessica Jones will be like this, because while that definitely has some darkness to it, I imagined it as having a lighter side as well. This looks particularly bleak/gritty. I also have to wonder how they'll deal with Daredevil being in the MCU. I assume they'll acknowledge it at least, but I can't exactly picture Thor making a cameo in this show, for example.

Forgot to actually rate the trailer. Very good. Got me excited in a different way than the Ultron or first Flash trailer. Very tense and curious instead of an "oh *****" spectacle.

Opposite for me, if this was an original property I'd be excited unlike every other CBTV show on right now, which I only watch or struggle to watch because they are comic book shows.

Badda$$ trailer if I did not know about DD I would be thinking this is Dexter unleashed

I dunno....I wasn't sure I even wanted to rate the thing, because it seemed fairly "meh" to me.

I guess I just needed more to sell me on it. Cox is "ok" I guess. The whole costume thing-eh.Just get to the red one already. Fisk didn't really make much of an impression.

I did like seeing Matt in church/some of the action.Reminded me a lot of the movie. (Which is a GOOD thing.:woot:)

I'm sure it'll be pretty good, but I was hoping my excitement level would hit the roof. This was more akin to the Ant Man trailer's "Eh,it looks alright.I'll show up to watch it." reaction.

Heh, the 2003 movie's lasting legacy is that it tainted Evanescence for me pretty much for good. I now have the same visceral bad reaction to it as I do to Chad Kroger's Hero song from the first Spider-man. Ugh!

hahaha! agreed, I can't stand hearing Evanescence because of Daredevil and I use to work at a shop in 2004 and a very annoying co-worker a young guy with little emo bangs, bad acne and sleeveless dragon shirts use to do back flips and round house kicks on break. "training" and always played Evanescence on a cd player he brought in personally...

:cmad:

I was never that bothered by all the Evanescence in DD. But then I enjoyed their music and can still listen to them even today.

My dislike of Evanescence is entirely independent of the Daredevil movie. I found the movie forgettable enough that I forgot her song was in it.

The 2003 film's use of music was abysmal. I watched it again the other day because of the trailer hype and some of the songs they used... my brain must have buried that deep down because I forgot THEY ACTUALLY ****ING USED DROWNING POOL AND HAD THEM MAKE A SONG FOR THE MOVIE. GOD DAMN US ALL FOR THAT.

But I still secretly cherish the movie. Everyone ****s on the Fleck but he was the least of its problems. Dude was playing it straight in a hammed up 12 year old scored MTV style superhero movie.:o

I actually though the trailer was abysmal. Still, it shows quite a bit of promise and after seeing how great Agent Carter is I'm expecting good things.

I don't think I could objectively rate the trailer right now because of how good the show looks. I'll think about it later when watching the first 2 episodes and go "Wow I could have cut a way better trailer out of this"

I've always liked the DD soundtrack. One of the better ones of that era.

I was a bit underwhelmed, I admit. Mainly because we've heard that "sorry not sorry" confession many a time before. The tone was right, but some of the narration was just pretentious. No one talks like that, "I've been preoccupied of late with questions of morality", even when someone is conflicted on moral dilemmas. I get they are trying to set up an internal conflict for Matt Murdock to reel people in and it's just 90 seconds, but my ears perk up and its jarring, sounded like a freshman English major scripted the dialogue because he desperately wants to Say Something Important to the audience.

Still excited for the show in general.

I think, if you are going to say "I've been preoccupied of late with questions of morality," a Priest would be the kind of person you say it to. People tend to talk more formally and more complicatedly when speaking to someone in authority. People also tend to do that when in court speaking to a Judge (it's a bad habit, though). So a lawyer talking to a Priest might be the most likely scenario to say something like that.
