The Venom at the end of that leaked trailer is the same one shown at Comic-Con (i.e. it was in the early stages of post-production.) I don't know if that look of Venom is indicative of the final product; that's only the base, I'm sure there are several details on him that we have yet to see.

Going by the statue I'd say a 5. Going by the concept pic I'd say a 3.75.

The statue is perfect, and I mean dang perfect. I really hope the statue is exact, because that will make my jaw drop! I used to think that he shouldn't have the brick layer and the webs, but now I think they are absolutely necessary!

And I will say that statue is by far th ebest Venom statue I've ever seen. He looks better than in the comic book.

id say opposite of that

look at the jaw on the statue it looks like its breaking off

and the white symbiote looks better than the grey

otherwise for the most part theyre the same design

So do I. These days, eveyone's acting like raving lunatics, spouting off about things they dont really know about. To be honest, the general quality of discussion has taken a huge nose dive, its really sad.

His jaw looks damaged, and, is that damage on top of his head or a reflection?
I hope this isn't some sort of "battle damage" variant crap, but I like both designs. I think the producers are using the webbing on Venom in order to tie him closer to Spidey for those non-comic fans out there. It kinda fills in the thought that the symbiote both gives and recieves characteristics from the host.
Is it me, or does he seem to be wearing those ninja socks where the big toe is seperated from the res?

Its becoming a tad annoying that people are STILL complaining about the spider-design on Venom..

we've already seen Parker in the symbiote suit, so it'd make NO SENSE whatsoever that Venom would apear in the comic-esque suit with a huge white graphic on it. Its gonna be tied in to what Spidey has already worn - ie, the webbing and the grey spider. What is so hard to grap about that?!

I'll wait and see some real comfirmation before voting thanks. But out of the two examples, I like the concept art best -- they both have bags of detail, but the concept art has got the detail more refined and subtle, unlike the model with the overly-visable web pattern.
