Justice League Ray Fisher Is Victor Stone/Cyborg

In these two images it looks like he has crippled hands but the rest of the body is intact.

Ooh flying Cyborg, grounded WW. The feminists might have a word about this :D

I like his look but yeah, albeit on my phone screen, there definitely seemed to be a little head disconnect from his body? Hopefully gets a bit of streamlining to his movements.
Like his voice (the actor). Very cool.

I've already scrolled by about 4 articles of "Who is Cyborg?" Did no one watch/read Teen Titans? :funny:

The floaty head is indeed a problem but we gotta see the final product in november. I like this creepy alien design for starters, but would love to see the suit evolving (being Cyborg a technopath) to a more human (pr aproved) or terrestrial suit. Kind of the silver suit of robocops reboot might be a good example.

I'd prefer they didn't go to the darker metallic.

I don't see the floaty head that much. Thing is, he doesn't have an actual neck, just cybernetic muscles and tendons, like the lower torso is consisting solely of cybernetic ribcage, and when you add to that plates on his face, his head stands out more. So it's more of a bobble-head case, a la Bale's Batman, and even that isn't the case in every shot.

I know I didn't. Need to figure out why his daddy did that to him and why the he!! He was in pieces to begin with.

Depends on the origin. They really can't go for New 52 approach, though, as it was Darkseid's invasion that did it to him. Basically, it would be as if he only became Cyborg at the start of this film, which we know he didn't.

I think Ray Fisher will steal the show as Cyborg especially considering this film will be like his coming out party before his Cyborg solo

he looks a lot better than i expected. i still think his design could have been better, but it looks pretty good in live action.

I know right his design at first I didn't like it at all but now seeing it in live action it actually looks sick

Yeah it is perfect and DC made the definite right choice with Ray Fisher casting wise

So someone on Twitter noted that Cyborg in the hoodie is similar to this here:

From the Teen Titans episode 'Go,' which...I don't remember liking all that much. It was fine, don't get me wrong, and nothing wrong with an origin tale, but I just remember liking so many other episodes more.

It's more than just TT toon. That look has been pretty common for Victor over the years, both in comics and if I am remembering it right even when he made his debut in animation on the Super Powers Galactic Guardians toon in the 80's.

For me, the problem isn't that he doesn't have an actual neck, but that the cgi is so uncanny that i can't step into the magic circle and buy the effects, just three green screening.

Even as the cheap and failed attempt of a movie Robocop was, they did achieve this level of believability (except for some shots with the obvious rubber blac suit) in the final silver suit. Just bulky and clunky enough to sell the machine-man concept, but without being ridiculous.

I'm all in for the cgi (if its well done), and for that i'm gonna wait till november instead of bashing it for free. It still feels cheap cgi and that makes the head stand out.

I like this. Adaptation to keep his biological parts alive given environmental stress I would guess. Going where the oxygen is thin? Gonna have to protect what is left of his lungs etc.

I hadn't thought of that. Because they're sort of similar-looking design wise, I was thinking he might be infiltrating the parademon ranks.

Though, I guess the lack of wings would take explaining...

I have to say Ray is really charismatic. He had just one line in the trailer and I love him as Cyborg already.

The only time it's really taking me out was the "you should move" scene.
