Justice League Ray Fisher - WB Investigation Updates Thread

So much for the theory that Whedon was the one who supposedly called him to apologize. Must have been either Berg or Hamada.

Fisher specifically stated it was one of the 3 people he's accusing of being mean to him so it's not Hamada.

Hamada was not even incharge of films at WB (he was at New Line) when the JL reshoots were happening, people incharge at that time were - Kevin Tsujihara, Tobey Emmerich, Jon Berg, Goeff Johns and Joss Whedon.

What's wrong with seeking attention for this?
He's promoting a cause and trying to change the culture of an industry, so he's raising awareness.
Why shouldn't someone draw attention to abuses of power and mistreatment of workers?
I see no reason to bemoan someone saying: "this problem still exists".

Because it’s all so random (Or perfectly timed with sone positive DC News so he can jump in on that) and he’s just repeating the same **** over and over. We still don’t know what these people are meant to have done. I’m fed up of it, speak up or shut up.

A lot people advocating a cause will say the same thing over and over, that isn't abnormal.

Quoting a previous post I made in this thread:
I think when it comes to wanting Fisher to give details, we need to remember this isn't entirely his story to tell.
He has repeatedly referred to other witnesses he got to come forward who want to stay anonymous. My feeling is that Fisher was not the victim of the worst of this but a witness to it.
Fisher is respecting their privacy by not giving details to the public.

"It's a tricky knot.....but we will untangle it."
Or to be precise "We will to untie it". Meaning he probably wrote "we will try to untie it" initially and decided he didn't look determined enough so he changed it.

Yeah it's pretty clear to me that no matter what the truth is he's an attention seeker. And I don't mean the kind of attention that is needed to fight a cause like it was referenced above, but one where he tries to stay relevant in the business. A lot can change in the future and I could be completely wrong but right now with how he acts, I think he's got nothing concrete all this time and he knows it, so he tries to win the people in social media.

And honestly, those "I love Ray Fisher" t-shirts are borderline trolling.

He's promoting a "cause" by putting out t-shirts with "I Love Ray Fisher" on it and somehow people have fallen for it. We have a true champion of the people here who's totally not using slander to try and hurt the careers of others while trying to raise his own status. Lets just ignore the timing of these accusations for a minute and remember that he's supposedly speaking for others. I wonder how many of them have purchased an "I love ZS" or "I love RF" t-shirt for this so-called "cause"?

What should his response to the t-shirt campaign have been?
Saying he didn't want people to express their support for him and donate to a good cause?

I think that if he was just trying to get attention, he could have found other ways that don't leave him open to lawsuits from huge corporations.
Other cast and crew members are supporting him, they seem to think this is about more than his ego.

Can I ask why you are personally fed up?

I would demand that the "cause" be placed on the shirt instead of my own name. How about a shirt that says "I stand against abuse" or something along those lines?

Cause he’s not providing any info. He’s getting the Snyder Cult all riled up to back up his claims that so far have no substance to them. I think he said an attention seeker

Right, but "fed up" is a pretty strong response. All of those things could be true and one could be like, "meh." So I was wondering why it irks so much.

The complaints about there not being new details suggest people are treating this like entertainment. It's as if it's a TV show that's gotten boring after a few episodes. Every episode seems to be the same now, it's just boring filler. When are we going to get some action or some dramatic revelations?

This isn't entertainment, it's a whistle-blower campaigning against people being mistreated and a company covering it up.‎
Imagine if we applied this thinking to other scenarios:
"Did you see that union advocate on the news last night?"
"Yeah, getting a bit fed up of her, just keeps saying the same things about low wages and hazardous working conditions. When's she going to tell us something new?"
"I know, I think she's just doing it for attention."

If we finally get told something and he is right I’ll then take his side. But unless that happens and he continues to say nothing I’m gonna call him out on it.

I see the usual suspects are back at it again.

Sorry guess I didn’t get the memo that I’m to just take Ray’s side even though he continues to provide no examples or evidence. Ray is consistently doing the same crap, saying nothing just to rile up the Snyder cult who’d take his side no matter what. You don’t like it cause I don’t align with your biased opinion.

Meh, different versions of the same post every time Ray says anything.

I’ve made it clear multiple times I ain’t accusing anyone of anything. I just believe Ray should be taken seriously by his employers and that he’s totally within his right to use social media the way he has.

Apparently that view is more biased than, “He won’t give details so he should shut his mouth.” Well mkay.

I was commenting on the fed up line. There's other options between either taking his side or being fed up. Fed up just seems like a strong reaction to this. It's always good to look at our motivations when strong feelings are involved. That's my take, anyhow.

I'm mostly just amused at Grace assuring everyone Ray had already won and vanquished both Johns and Whedon for all time and effectively ended their careers, and then this happens. Some of these scoopers really do just be pulling stuff out of the anus.

It kind of goes both ways. It's not like his supporters' comments have been bringing anything new to the table for quite some time now. And unless we hear actual news and progress at some point, the conversations will probably keep going in circles. Until this thread is renamed to "I love Ray Fisher" or anything in similar fashion, my advice for you would be to be a little more tolerant of opinions and arguments you don't agree with, even if they are getting a bit repetitive due to lack of proper developments.

lol, this isn't going to do anything substantive or Johns or even less Whedon.
