I've often wondered what people would say of what Rosa Parks did if she did that today. Of course over time she is revered, but in the moment? There would be a whole wide range of responses. I remember when the NBA players refused to play for a couple of games after they got back into the bubble and I saw plenty of people asking, "What's the point of that? They're just wasting their time." Of course some people weren't willing to see the other side of it (they got NBA arenas and MLB parks to host voting locations among other things). If the beloved Mohammed Ali played today, would he be told to shut up and box?

I mean just look at what happened to Colin Kaepernick.

Saying "I am inspired by X" is not the same as saying "I am X".

In the narrative? I guess. I think he was already ground down spiritually from being a twenty year battle hardened veteran and having lost Robin and everything, but Superman definitely becomes a focal point for his rage.

I understand it from an in-universe narrative perspective, I just don’t really care for Snyder’s characterizations.

I think he said he didn’t want to work with Hamada because he accused him of protecting Geoff Johns. Hamada, according to him, was willing to throw Whedon under the bus but not Johns who refused to do anything about Whedon’s behavior and made thinly veiled threats to his career.
