I remember my friend had that system. That thing had a keyboard attached to the controler t: with all the buttons on the bottom.

after Nintendo saw that the 1st Mortal Kombat game wasn't selling as well as the Genesis version, they finally decided to have violent games on the SNES

The Genesis was just as kiddie with Mortal Kombat.... but had a "secret" code that made it adultish.

I would have to say hands down: SNES.

While both systems had it's strength and weakness, but I think Nintendo played better in that arena. I just didn't like Genesis darker colours, don't get me wrong, they had a lot of awesome games, as one of my favorite, Gun Star Hero's, Shining Force series, Phantasy Star, and many more.

Where as SNES had better hardware, heck, it wasn't impressive what they pulled out of a 16 bit cart. Star Fox alone was impressive, and then when they started getting into 48 cartridge, such as Tales of Phantasia. Plus, the sound system was down right impressive.

This will be my best console of all time, but, I can't knock some of the others as well, tho.
