Reactions from the "general public"

Wolvie got the most reaction from the public.many said 'wow' in his every berserk kind of scenes.

When i went and saw fun with dick and jane they showed the teaser and everybody went WOW!!! to Angel :)

The only wow part of angel was when he knocked everyone back. I unwowed with the way he was landing after jumping out the building.

I showed the trailer to my ex-girlfriend last night. She was sonfused and not really excited because she had never seen teh first two movies (one of the reasons I was reminded of why she was my ex to begin with :p ) but she did still like the look of Angel.

fanboys would talk about Jean after seeing the movie, the general public who are lazy in memorizing and analyzing every mutant power displayed would likely talk about angel.

Some of my friends are like that too. They'll casually talk about it but they never get hyped for it.

IMO thats the wisest choice. Why? X3 could fall either way.

I saw the X3 anti-piracy advert and the X3 teaser with "V of Vendetta" last week. Not much audience reaction. My friend commented that "he hadn't had a film for a while" and further down the row I heard someone say "Van Helsing", so what little there was related to HUgh Jackman.

Anyway, on topic, I showed the trailer to my sister and she got absolutely giddy at the sight of Angel, lol, though for some bizaare reason she kept calling him "Archangel" and I had to keep telling her that Archangel isn't in the movie yet.

Thats no surprise to me. The common person knows that character as "Archangel".

Most people refer to him as Archangel because most people who arent hardcore fans get there info and continuity from the 90's cartoon. I always have to correct my friends on that same issue, I had to do the same thing as you when i showed them the trailer.

My sister saw IA:2 and they showed the teaser

Thats dumb. Why didn't they use the latest one? It doesn't seem like they're using the trailer that much.

My theater seemed to have the trailer onto "Slither"...It's not been doing as much as "ATL" or Ice Age 2" over here, but it's had a pretty decent crowd during the later hours...

I couldn't really read/hear the audience's reaction for it...It was a pretty tame crowd (even during the Silent Hill trailer). I missed the reaction of the rough and rowdy crowd that was there at the next showing, though...

At work I had some rent X1 and X2 on DVD, Friday. They were like ''I never ever saw these and I just got back from seeing Ice Age 2 and they showed the trailer for the third one? It looks just AWESOME." I just giggled and checked her out.

At the video store I work at, we're getting ready to put up our summer sequel wall, which will feature (so far) both X1 and X2, Pirates of the Caribbean, M:I and M:I2, Ice Age, Basic Instinct, etc...

Hopefully, I'll be able to check on how well X1 and X2 is renting against the other movies on that wall.

Most of our Ice Age 2's showed Over the Hedge, Happy Feat, Just My Luck, RV, The Wild, and The Simpsons movie teaser..

What's that Simpsons teaser like? Isn't it suppose to air with the Simpsons tommorrow night as well?
