Comics Recommend some Spiderman comics, please?

I've been wanting to pick up some Spiderman comics for awhile now. He's appeared in some other comics I've gotten (New Avengers Vol. 1, Deadpool: Suicide Kings, Venom vs Carnage) and I've always likes Spidey, but never have actually picked up a solo comic of his, so any recommendations? I'd like to read his origin, and when he gets the symbiote. Also I'd like the comics to be canon and about Peter Parker, no other person being Spidey. Thanks t:

As far as new comics from the last ten years or so? Try Amazing Spider-Man Vol. 2 #30 - #35, or Marvel Knights #1 - #12. Try googling them. Both are a lot of fun!

The second one by Millar is kind of pricey, but that's because it's so good and demand for it is so high.

I would also suggest anything Ultimate Spider-Man. Issues 1-133 are some of the best Spidey stories ever told. Ever.

Kraven's Last Hunt... I thought it was an overhyped story before I ever read it... now I've owned the individual issues for years, but didn't actually read the story until about two months ago when I bought the TPB... probably one of my favorite Spider Man stories ever.
