The Dark Knight Rises Release date for the TDK Sequel; July 20, 2012

Hehe, I just realized that each of Nolan's Batman films are released after I've graduated from a level of school. BB came out after elementary graduation, TDK after middle school, and now the third entry will come out after high school graduation.

haha, no kidding. I graduated high school a year before BB came out and I had just graduated college a couple months before TDK came out.

I like that I'm older while all this is happening, though. Forget about keeping up the Wiki while trying to write papers or study for finals.

Haha I graduated college in May of 2008 when all the ARG for Dark Knight was happening and it was very interesting writing a couple of 20 page papers while talking on the phone to someone 400 miles away and trying to give them instructions off the internet. Great time great times..

I think this is always the case. It would be egg on any company's face if they had to backtrack on any official announcement.

I've had the sneaking suspicion Team Nolan have been on board with this film for a while. How long? Anyone's guess, there may have been a period where Chris wasn't certain if he was coming back, maybe even adamant he wasn't coming back, hence the extra year this time around. Kinda weird but the less news we got, the more that confirmed to me something was cooking.

I think it's pretty much a given that Team Nolan are further ahead than they're letting on. We should all have learnt this by now after following the production of BB and TDK. Chris even mentioned in that interview with the LA Times that Jonah was off writing the script, and that they are intending to make it as epic as possible. In that instance, we at least know they have a clear idea of what they want to do and where they want to go.

Things should really get interesting around Comic Con time this summer, as well as around the release of Inception.

I think I'm currently spending more time per day working on the ARG compilation than on the Wiki. I can definitely see how website coding can be a full-time job. Hopefully I can get this done and sent out to peeps before the new viral starts.

Although it's less stressful since the material is already set, there's no new stuff coming in.

lol, glad it's a bit less stressful for ya! I was just browsing through the wiki part thinking "Good times, good times". I really hope they have games again for the new one
