I generally don't care about what other people beleive in...as long as they leave me alone about my personal beliefs. Weather they beleive they're right and I'm wrong doesn't worry me.

Mmmm, well, the part where you said that all other religions are considered to be cultured and great is unfounded.

You are right that Christianity is "constantly" attacked here, because there are so many people on the Hype, that there is constantly someone else on who is against Christianity, and constantly, somewhere, a Christian who is attacking a non-Christian's way of life, like Memphis Slim, Moviefan2K4, Varient, Mr. 7000+, etc.

Meh, I don't have problem with religion, just religious fundamantalists. If religion makes some people happy and they don't bother anyone else, who cares what they believe. People believe in a lot of stupid things.

Unlike others, I think religion is what you make of it, some people use it for good (MLK, Gandhi, etc), some use it for evil (Bin laden, Bush ). Relgion is just another reflection of man, evil people will use it justify their evil, good people will use it justify their good deeds.

I think people shold show good manners to each other and not look down on others because of what they believe or don't believe.

This is stupid. Christians are constantly persecuted on this site, but every other religion is thought of as brilliant and cultured.

In my opinion, unless your parents bring you up right, religion helps with morals and the whole right and wrong thing, etc etc. A lot of times I see kids who have ****ty ass parents, and to top that off have no sense of Faith in any type of religion...and they are always the messed up ones.

One makes the whole lot awful? I don't see why so many Christians have negativity between Catholics. And it is dumb with all of these different denominations, because the differences are so small.

Seriously, I've had people walk up to me and say "I'm Christian, and you?" (generally speaking, not going to go into detail because don't have to). I reply how I'm Christian too, and then when I say Catholic to be more specific, they act like I'm not a Christian all of a sudden. It's happened to me before and my older brother.

I have an uncle who stopped going to church because of that priest stuff...and if I was a total dick I would call him out how ******ed that is and how childish he is being. From what I saw, he wasn't very religious to begin with. Looked like he just wanted a better excuse not to go anymore when our families would go.

So kind of a sensitive subject. I didn't mean to come off as defensive. But people blow stuff like that out of proportion so much.

Christianity is the only religion on here that I ever seen bashed mindlessly. Scientology is occasionally, but usually they just say "Oh it sucks" and move on.

Why do athiests even care to talk about Christianity if they truly don't believe it? What do they have to gain?

The western world is predominantly Christian so we get to experience their BS the most. Just like an atheist in India is going to criticize Hinduism the most.
I for one will insult any and all religions.

You talk like it encourages the slaying of anyone with different beliefs. That was another time; a very different time. Quoting what happened with the Crusades, or when the Spanish tried to get rid of all the Muslims in Spain to name some things, are not great ways to improve your side of the argument.

To say the faith is based upon countless murdering is entirely farfetched. That is like saying, such ideas are being spread and taught to even now. Surprised such a comment would be made.
