Remakes that wouldn't drive you crazy!

Alien Vs Predator

I could prolly get on board that. I hated the movie. I think they should have included those Feds who were traking them in Predator 2,enter Adam Baldwin returning as his number 2 character becoming field leader.

Ghost Rider
Fantastic Four

Let's see what Marvel can do with these, because FOX and friends certainly made some crap.

Fox does suck, but I have some hope for Wolverine for some odd reason.

Anyway, I would like to see a remake to Westworld and the Island of Dr. Monroe.

Scarface
Spider-Man 3
X-Men (with Beast please, Gambit wouldnt hurt either)

scareface was already a remake of the 1930s film. but if you want another one, then so be it.

i would keep highlander, but redo the sequels. Same with the Crow....scratch that, The Crow should never be remade and I wish the sequels didn't exist.

Well they do have great experience at making Wolverine movies :o.

pretty much it's ironic that wolverine is getting his own movie.

honestly, i can't figure out how anybody can like x3, after the way they treated cyclops. it was so bad that i can't get over it til this very day.

The X-Men franchise as a whole is flawed, none so much as the third, but great liberties were taken throughout, and they weren't made with much heart imo.

They focus on Wolvie because he's a great sell, takes attention away from character development elsewhere... They didn't even make him the angry little Canuck midget he was suppose to be (god damn it he's our only worthwhile Marvel hero you jerks :cmad:), and the whole thing was an overall mess.

It's bound to be remade, even if it was perfect!

So who plays Tony Montana?

it's not tony montana, but Antonio 'Tony' Camonte.

the 1983 remake made tony into a cuban in the then-comtempory america

Highlander. Great idea, terrible execution.

I still think that X2 was good for what it was. With the 'Wolverine' remake, it's so out there with the faithfulness that I don't mind seeing Gambit thrown in there, even if it's in the 70s or 80s.

I wouldn't mind seeing a remake to Sky Captain. I mean, the movie was visually awesome but it missed it's mark. And because of that, most studios are wary of movies in the same vein. Espcially when 'steampunk'/pulp movies didn't fare too well in the past (The Rocketeer, The Shadow, etc) besides Indiana Jones.

I WOULD LOVE to see The League of the Extradordinary Gentlemen remake. and make it as raw as the original books.

How about The Seventh Seal?

I'm surprised this hasn't been remade yet.

The Wizard of Oz, closer to the book.
Resident Evil
Flash Gordon.
Masters of the Universe

Some of these suggestions are absolutely bloody awful, but also completely indicative of the logic that causes all this remake madness - "it's 'outdated', so let's update it, make it hip and now and edgy!"

I completely agree with the suggestion of Van Helsing. That's the type of movie that should be remade - one with a great concept but awful execution.

Van Helsing was a rip off of Solomon Kane which is getting its own trilogy anyway.

Lost In Space

Event Horizon

Alien Vs Predator

Last Action Hero

Why remake Event Horizon?

Logan's run because I thought the original had some good ideas but was overrated.

1984 just for fun and also League of Extraordinary Gentlemen done right

You know what I wanna see a remake of (and I'm dead f***in' serious)? VAMP! That vampire movie with Grace Jones. Get someone like James Gunn or Eli Roth, hire KNB for the creature and gore effects, and you'd be set!

citizen kane directed by micheal bay
the seventh seal by len wiseman
taxi driver by jay roach

(sarcasm ? yep)
(but i was sincere about batman begins :) )

Superman ( I would love to see a modern day Superman movie)
Gremelins.
Wizard of OZ
Fright Night
