Thats is the 1 first one on my wish list: and I want Peter jackson to direct it
Instead of remaking classics, they should just rerelease them back into the theatres. I'd rather see the original Jaws on the big screen than a remake.
Its not a bad idea but many theatres in my area have done that in the past with several films usually on sat nights but they never drew crowds large enough to fill the theaters to even half capacity, Im sure it would be like that else where too. I think the only films that really pulled that off was Star wars when it was remastered and new scenes added.
I would like to see him direct it as well but rely a little less on cg, try to use more physical effects like with the orcs. Gollum was done very well same with many of the other creatures but I think it would feel more real if not every character was CG.
Well when it come to monsters I am 100% cgi its only on humans that I dont really like to use it!
The reason for that is lack of advertising. They could put trailers on television and market and advertise it like they would a new release. If they did that they might draw larger crowds and the cost of advertising is a whole hell of a lot cheaper than making a new film from scratch. After making back what they spend on advertising, everything else wold be pure profit. Might work out.
You asked the question, I gave my answer. If you don't like it

There was no "none of the above" box to check in the poll so it looked like you were asking your own question and you had nothing under your quote. If you were quoting me use the quote codes so it's clear.
The might is a pretty big chance thought thats the only thing that sucks, but it would be cool to see older flicks in theaters again. Theatres prob would need to drop the ticket prices for older movies though.
I don't know how that would work. I think theatres make their money off of nine dollar sodas and tubs of popcorn. The studios make money off of the tickets, so I don't know if a theatre can just drop the price. But I don't care. I'd pay full price to see some of the good stuff up there on the big screen.
