Resident Evil 6

I dont know if any one watched the premiere of AMC's the Walking Dead on Sunday, but id love to see something along the lines of that. Returning to Raccoon City, or maybe another city where there was a T-Virus outbreak and have you either searching for your family or having you try and figure out whats going on.

Id really be fine with anything, as long as its less over the top than Resident Evil 5. Also, bring back the zombie. They MUST bring back the zombie and other T-Virus infected "things".
 
I don't get the hate for Las plagas and the Majini. I think that they're better than the zombies because it only makes sense for a corporation like Umbrella to create subjects who are faster and more deadly than zombies. It was a good progression in my eyes because your average villain in RE 4 and 5 were more deadly than the lumbering zombies.

Don't get me wrong, I love the zombies too, but I'm glad that they moved on from them. I don't really like fast moving zombies in the movies, but for video games they are scarier to me.
 
What I don't like about them is that they're almost like normal people, just ****ing crazy. Chasing you on motorcycles, shooting you with machine guns and rocketlaunchers, advancing with riotshields. Might as well just put an Umbrella Strike Force into the game to fight against.
 
I agree, return the zombie. I would want either a squad based shooter with maybe an Umbrella Biohazard Team OR as a survivor trying to piece together what happened, similar to what ProjectPat said. They need to breath some life into the RE franchise. I enjoyed playing RE5, but it got pretty stale fast. The first three RE games I have played more times than I could count, even RE4 got played a dozen or more times, but RE5 was tough to play over again. I want them to do something fun and exciting to breath new life into RE. Give the RE franchise the ****ing T-Virus!!!!
 
What I'd really love, is if they manage to make a game, where you can't just gun everything down. You should have limited ammo and Zombies should have their numbers. Teamwork should be key for survival. Like pushing a friend over a wall so he can unlock a gate from the other side. And having to be always on the move, because a barricaded door won't hold forever, when several dozen Zombies slam against it.

The series need 4 and 5, it needed that change, gameplay and storywise, it was getting stale. I like every game in the series for some reason or another, but the controls were old by Code Veronica, the story got really to a point where they threw in cross dressing to make it interesting and it's just...

Yeah, don't understand the disdain for 4 and 5. Instead of this stupid step back to Racoon City, step forward, give us the ending details on Leon, Claire, Sherry, and Ada in RE6, then move forward with a reboot and then if you want to do a squad based game in a city (which btw sounds incredibly much like an action game to me, the MAIN complaint against RE5, but yet everyone seems to be ready to fap over this news.) if you want.
 
I want another Outbreak. With XBL and PSN online play is doable now. They need to try Outbreak again

I didnt hate either RE4 or RE5, but RE5 moved too far away from what made RE a great series. There wasnt any survival horror elements to be found in RE5. They need to get back to that. No more punching boulders.
 
This is what I want. Go back to Raccoon City, let me play as a no body, in fact let me create my own character.... Have it set between 2 and 3 (...even though three is happening before, and slightly at the same time as 2...) Have my character be a survivor trying to make sense out of what's going on. Let me do it alone...if I want, or let me band together with a group of people on the fly and attempt to get through the zombie Apocalypse that has come to Raccoon city.

Give me shuffling zombie, crimson heads from the remakes, hunters, lickers, tyrants, chimera... GIANT creepy spiders and put it all online. It would be amazing.

Um....they sorta already did that, sans character creation.

Haha. That show is effing amazing. I was thinking, finally, there is a show or movie that gets zombies the way the RE series has. I loved it.
 
The Walking Dead was amazing. That vibe would be cool for an RE game

This is pretty much how I feel about the whole thing. I'm hoping that the squad based game is just a side story while we still get an RE6 that continues the story from where 5 left off.

Code Veronica is probably the only RE game that I bought and never finished. After I got stuck in the mansion. I ended up watching a walkthrough of the game later to fill me in.

It was refreshing to a have faster pace with 4 (I didn't really enjoy 5 as much). But when it comes to Resident Evil in terms of pace and atmosphere I always think of the original 3.

I would also love to know what happens to Sherry Birkin, and hopefully she doesn't have the same desires and tenacity that her parents did.
 
Have you guys ever play Outbreak? It still retained the survivor horror element that made RE so great.

I doubt this new game is anything like Rainbow Six: Raccoon City or Socom: Zombie Confrontation.

Heck, if it's even a squad based game... we don't know.

Yea i think some have seen 'Socom Developer" and think it'll be like Socom. Has it even been confirmed they are taking on the next RE?


I think another game the likes out Outbreak could be pretty cool. Refine a few things and i think you got a winner.

it has been capcom has put it out there that it has. They've been putting other developers on ther franchises. As for how the game will play not sure . But from the things I last posted here that should be enough. unless your have an aversion to those two sites. ign I can understand you might have an aversion to. Joy stiq on the other hand .....
