Once again, I don't see how you turn 1 and 2 into a single story.

Does everyone realize that Resident Evil 2 and 3 happen about right on top of each other? If anything, you'd have to do 1, 2 and 3, and it would still be disjointed and awkward as a single film.

Lol hopefully we see a giant alligator. But yea I wonder if the events of 1 will be going on at the same time as 2 ? Cause if I recall raccoon city fell weeks after the mansion incident. However people were getting infected in raccoon city early due to the rats biting people and it just ballooned into a pandemic.

There shouldn't be any Jill Sandwich or branching paths, so maybe merging RE1 and RE2 can work in some strange way.

But I wonder how much will be taken from classic RE2, how much will be taken from Darkside Chronicles (if any), and how much inspirations will be drawn from REmake 2. Maybe they should just draw the stuff that connects the two movies early on and make room for the rest of the material to be processed properly in the sequel. There is also the R.P.D. chapter from Outbreak File 2 to put into consideration for material to draw inspiration from.

o really? Damn thought it wasn’t the case. But that makes more sense since they were in the sewer and the rats really didn’t become monstrous .

but the lore of how it all went down is so fascinating . I can’t believe they put so much thought into the story in the 90s. The mansion really is the key to the destruction of the city
