it was just my opinion
But he looks scary....

I bet this movie stars Mila Jovovich as a character named "Dorothy" who is more powerful than Dante and constantly rescues him from monsters that he is just barely incompetent enough to not handle on his own.
Ryu Kitamura or Kurt Wimmer would direct this, if there were justice in this world. It's probably just going to be soulless schlock the same as Resident Mila. And Dante will have black hair.
I doubt they'll listen to your wise advice, Def28. They'll go for the cheapest director they can get.
The main thing about Dante is his hair and his red coat; it's almost iconic. To change it, you just take away 80% of his character (since, let's admit it, he's a very shallow character)
Oh, that was a nice trailer!Yeah, I have a feeling that will be the case,
If they just Mix the characters and Plot of DMC1 and DMC3 they could have a decent flick. Really hope they realize the insanity of the games is what makes them so fun.
Was bored so made a aquick Fan trailer mostly using the live action commercials.

Actually, I think they could save Trish and Mundus for the third movie.Pretty much.I think that should take a look at DMC3 and the anime.Save Trish and Mundus for a sequel.
Aren't Virgil and Dante twins? That means the actors they get have to look alike unless they go a different route.
hopefully capcom doesnt put a no name character to replace the main character. Probaly name trish alice and have her save dante countless time's and such.

I forget, does the anime takes place before DMC4?
The anime takes place before Devil May Cry 4, Dante and Lady are present, there is no mention of Nero at all.
Hollywood Is Making a Devil May Cry Movie
Continuing a "multimedia" promotional strategy that's seen such wonders as the latest Street Fighter movie, Capcom has asked Hollywood production company Screen Gems (part of Sony Pictures) to whip up a Devil May Cry feature film.
It'll be a live-action project, written by Kyle Ward, who has also penned the upcoming (and long in production hell) Kane & Lynch movie adaptation.
The news, coming today from an official Capcom announcement, confirms a report from earlier in the year.
Those hoping this will feature the old Dante, sorry. Capcom says this film will be based on the new Dante design for the upcoming series reboot/prequel, DmC.
