The Amazing Spider-Man Review of the script?

I just hope that Black Cat appears in the series......played by Amber Heard or Blake Lively of course. I also hope that Black Cat appears when Spider-Man has his Black costume.

I want Dylan Walsh to play Dr. Connors/Lizard.

Blake Lively is hot, that's it. She can't act worth crap; why even think of her as Black Cat? This reboot isn't being directed by Michael Bay.

And...because of the lack thereof, I feel sorry for Green Lantern.

*Ahem*

District 9 - $30 million.

Spider-Man is far more expensive than District 9. Distrcit 9 was filmed nowhere near a place like NYC, didn't have to spend too much on the cast, and only had 1 grand scale battle. Everything else was smaller stuff. If the villain is the Lizard and you want him to fight Spider-Man more than once, then you need more than 80 million.

Marc Webb says that info on the Spidey reboot is coming sooner than we think. In the meantime, I bring you a recap of the script review that it's done 3 months ago by spiderman2o29. The video was deleted, but somehow I got it from my ipod touch. Okay here we go:

WARNING: Script review not actual source and may go through revisions.

  • "The Spectacular Spider-Man" series (possibly the show) is an inspiration for the script.

  • darker,gritter and more contemporary (up-to-date;modern society;Peter Parker using a cellphone)

  • real emotional issues for Peter and the rest of the cast

  • same tragedy characters have in the original comics

  • Spidey has "witty comeback" attitude

  • Gwen starts out as Peter's love interest; Mary Jane more of a friend

  • a trilogy consisting of multiple villains (villains that hadn't been seen before that fans want to see)

  • Venom spin off shelved until he appears on the big screen (again)

  • Past concepts from past films (for example MJ getting kidnapped) has been scrapped

  • Peter as Spidey screws up based on his own actions and has to accept the consequences; constantly conflicted between Spider-Man as a hero and his personal life of high school issues

  • things will happen that will force Peter to make hard choices in the end

Thank God you A) you were able to pull in from your IPoD and B) hid ALL those spoilers with a Spoiler Tag!!! *phew* :whatever:

Jeez, Here we goooo again.

  • "The Spectacular Spider-Man" series (possibly the show) is an inspiration for the script. (which in itself takes inspiration from about every medium of Spidey so that's not so far fetched)
  • darker, gritter and more contemporary (up-to-date;modern society;Peter Parker using a cellphone) (that's already mentioned by others and is nothing new, except from the cellphone)
  • real emotional issues for Peter and the rest of the cast (oh really!? That was unexpected! :whatever:)
  • same tragedy characters have in the original comics (and I thought they'd use Bruce Wayne, Chuck Norris and Homer Simpson, guess I was wrong then)
  • Spidey has "witty comeback" attitude (another thing that's semi-obvious)
  • Gwen starts out as Peter's love interest; Mary Jane more of a friend (good guess)
  • a trilogy consisting of multiple villains (villains that hadn't been seen before that fans want to see) (I thought they'd use the exact same villains all over again...or not :whatever:)
  • Venom spin off shelved until he appears on the big screen (again) (ok)
  • Past concepts from past films (for example MJ getting kidnapped) has been scrapped (that's pretty obvious too since they want to distance themselves from the previous series)
  • Peter as Spidey screws up based on his own actions and has to accept the consequences; constantly conflicted between Spider-Man as a hero and his personal life of high school issues (no **** Sherlock I really didn't expect that!)
  • things will happen that will force Peter to make hard choices in the end (and Sherlock strikes again with his detective work! maybe you should take over the role of Batman)

There you go

I just hope that Black Cat appears in the series......played by Amber Heard or Blake Lively of course.

LOL!!!! Blake Lively doesn't have the assets of Black Cat.

Christina Hendricks does.

How about no Black Cat and we call it a day?
