I personally think it would be awesome if the filmed kicked off with Rhino trashing the city and Spidey trying to pummel him but losing (starting the downward spiral) then later on when the symbiote is attached, beats Rhino, making Spidey believe that he needs to keep the costume to be able to help people easily.
What do you guys think???

yes..........but............no

just action scene for nothing

I doubt they'd do the Rhino. If they were worried that the comic version of the Goblin looks silly, pulling off the Rhino would be much harder.

What do I think??

I think too many people are wanting this movie to be a carbon copy of that crappy cartoon.:down

i can see them doing that for whoever the fourth villian is!

I want to see a Nightcrawler-esque beginning like X2. That would be a good way to start the movie.

with who though? and with what?

i say no to rhino, he would just be for an action scene if anything, just a fight with him running this way and that way and spidey jumping over here and over there just to dodge him, nothing major, and i personally don't care for him, especially the USM rhino :down

that's exactly what i'm thinking! are you in my mind?! lol, just kidding around! i was thinking that they can do the same as with nightcrawler except they dont have to have the villian in the rest of the movie. you know, maybe have spidey catch the villian and have him or her put away.

but how would you do, and with who? i think it would be cool as well, but how would you go about doing it?

Who knows, maybe the opening sequence might include Vulture and Rhino and Scorpion and Shocker robbing a bank and Spidey gotta defeat them all

then he fight sandman, and then GG2, then venom and when hes finally done beating all these villians, hes gonna fight jean grey (yea, shes back and in new york)

i dunno, im sure sam will think of something imaginitive

i dont think it has to be the greatest villian or anything. maybe have someone like rhino rampaging the streets of new york, have everyone running around crazy, then out of no where spidey appears, they have a small fight with classic spidey lines included. he webs up rhino or whoever and the cops take him away. the cops say thank you spidey and then you see the spiderman 3 title. that would be a great way to start the movie.

sounds cool. so just put in a villian that wouldn't do in a major story, but just have him in the begining for the opener, no need to explain him really. i like it

exactly. then they can get away with four villians and the movie wont seem too congested.

It could also be the apparent scene where Gwen gets rescued by SM and starts off the whole Spider-Man Day theme.

No real idea how they would put it together, but basically a villain rampaging through the city, robbing a bank, or causing some sort of problem and SM comes to the rescue and battles the villain. Gwen gets in the middle (or maybe she was in trouble to begin with), SM rescues her, takes down the villain, and SM gets praise....

he would especially be praised since gwen is the captains daughter...captain stacey would probably make the day up himself.

Oh yeah, I haven't seen that movie for awhile.....but yeah it's nothing new but it's the most recognizable (especially on a Superhero forum)....

agreed.

problem with great action openings is that it's hard for the film to keep momentum afterwards

a better example is every bond movie
