the frickin penguin with a GL ring ....cant wait to see what hes gonna do with it (sarcasm) HAHAHAHAHa

The fact that Penguin is in this ep means it will probably be a stinker in my book. I can't stand this series version... he tries too hard to be comical and it just doesn't work.

You know that's not going to happen, This is after all The Bat's Show (His city) , (His villain) etc....

Besides Bats is such a badass superhero (Even when he not trying) He still manages to show up his other teamates in the League .

Sinestro is a Batman villian now? Neat.

Kal-El 8, love your Avy. It'd be awesome if you do the last scene when he slowly opens his eyes and sees the Bat-signal.

Hal Jordon looks cool.

It is starting to get annoying how every hero Batman meets gets to meet the cave and the boy sidekick.

Sinestro looks cool.

The plot, however, looks stupid. Penguin with a GREEN LANTERN RING!? Oh, god, this has suck written all over it. I am officially braced.

I agree with youse guys, this incarnation of Penguin is pretty damn annoying at times. He's like a fat ball of crappy one-liners that knows kung-fu. But I still hold hope that GL will take the episode up a few notches.

the penguin has become a comical relief character in this franchise,

embracing that, it would be nice to see how comical his use of the green latern ring can be...

outside of the joining, this could be the best team up episode yet....but it's definitely going to be light hearted in areas...

as long as kids 6-10 years old get a kick out of the episode then that's all that matters. Afterall, the show IS aimed at them, not us (adults).

I'm not that familiar with GL, so maybe someone can clear it up for me. Does Hal really need to carry the Lantern with him everywhere he goes? I thought it showed up whenever he needed it?

As expected, Penguin was the weakest spot in the ep for me. I really wanted Sinestro to come in and kill him, because that would have been awesome. And I know it's Batman's show, but once again, the guest character gets his ass kicked and needs Batman's help. How did these guys beat their villains BEFORE meeting Batman?

I thought the episode was pretty good. GL looked good and i liked his voice actor. The plot was pretty good to. It was funny to see penguin get the ring first. There was alot of funny scenes with him having the ring. Also it was cool bats used it a bit too. One thing i was wondering though about the power lantern in the comics/jl didnt wasnt it stored in like a pocket dimension and the gl calls for it when he needs a recharge? also when do the lanterns usually do that speech i thought it was when they charged the ring?

Yeah, I think I liked this episode a bit more than the rest. Nothing too outstanding, but maybe that's because there isn't anything outstanding with the series to begin with. Green Lantern had a pretty neat look in the animation style, but alas, I didn't think his voice was all that great.

Whoa, I just saw the episode and WOW, incredible and ... crap!
God I was expecting this one to be good. Well, there were good moments but half the episode, let's face it, was how does the penguin use the GL ring. That was stupid, unnecessary and boring. Result ? At the end, Sinestro is beaten in less than 2 minutes (just when the entire episode showed how powerful he was ...). And Hal Jordan, in my memories he was a guy called green Lantern, where the hell is he ? in a truck !?!
Nevertheless, there were some points I liked : GL design is very cool, IMO, the few we saw about GL and Batman was neat, and Sinestro was good almost all along. His design is not that bad, and his voice remind me of Aquaman. Overall, the episode wasn't that bad, maybe a little better than the rest of the season, IMO, IF one cut the 10 minutes with the penguin ; if not ... this episode sucked.Again.

Nothing special. I like GL's and Sinestro's look and their inclusion, but this series' Penguin does nothing but bore me.

Penguin ruined the ep for me. There was no need for that pathetic character to get the ring. At least this episode was better than that crap with the Flash.

I didn't think it was that bad, the only complaint I really have is that we didn't get to hear Hal Jordan do the GL "In darkest day..." speech.
