RIP Celebrity Thread - Part 4

Just watched BlacKKKlansman the other day. He was great in a very small role

Actor, Activist, Legend.
I've loved his music since I first heard it in Beetlejuice.

I'm gonna celebrate his life by listening to his great music and watching some of his films

Rest in Peace Mr. Belafonte

not gonna lie I thought he already passed away years ago he was awesome Day O still puts a smile on my face as does shake shake shake senora (gotta love them in Beetlejuice).

RIP to Harry Belafonte. Great singer and good actor. My favorite movie of his is THE WORLD, THE FLESH, AND THE DEVIL A very good post apocalyptic film with only three actors in it.

RIP Harry Belafonte. You will be missed and your legacy will live on with all you have accomplished and brought to this world.

Was sad to hear this. I generally loathe those kinds of shows, but Springer was different. He was clearly intelligent, had a very appealing and entertaining manner, and you could tell that he generally thought as little of most of his guests as many of us did. RIP

First Harry Belafonte and now Jerry Springer. Losing legends left and right. I had the opportunity to meet Jerry a few times, a very, very nice man.

When I was a kid, I watched Springer RELIGIOUSLY. It aired twice in NYC, and even when I had school I would buy VHS tapes to record the shows. Between Springer and Power Rangers, it’s the reason why I am the man I am today LOL.

RIP Jerry, you set the blueprint and will remain a talk show icon.

Man, this is sad, but at least he had a legendary career for the most part. The Jerry Springer show was the definition of trash tv, but I watched the crap out of it as a kid with no regrets whatsoever. He also seemed like such a nice and humble guy in real life too at least going by the interviews I've seen with him.

Rest In Peace Mr. Springer and thank you for all the fun childhood memories.

They're saying that he was diagnosed with pancreatic cancer just a few months ago. That stuff doesn't mess around. That's what took out celebrities such as Alex Trebek and Steve Jobs.

I was thinking this would be the end of his judge show, but then I read it had already been cancelled over a year ago.

Jerry Springer made a movie. it was called Ringmaster and it was a parody of his own show. It's hilarious. If you ever get a chance to watch it, it's definitely worthwhile.
