RIP Vartha

This is terrible and shocking news, he always seemed like a great guy.

Damn..:csad: RIP Vartha, and condolences to his family.

His last comment.

Okay guys, I'm STILL plotzing over our bud Thor, but need to get some sleep with Mom's operation tomorrow.
night buds!

Goodnight Vartha.

Very sad news indeed.

He was one of the nicest, most amicable guys on this forum and will be missed. Crazy that this is coming on the heels of whatever operation his mother was having - unless of course it was actually his own. Wish he could've gotten a chance to see his favorite CBM character one more time.

Couldn't believe this when I heard in the other threads. A huge loss for the Hype and such a nice guy. I followed him on facebook too and saw the man in action and all his enthusiastic updates championing geek stuff to even his non-geek friends with no shame! Very caring and all round positive guy. R.I.P. :csad::csad::csad:

No! Vartha :( that sucks. He's one of the only people I've ever really chatted with on here. I'll be praying for his family for sure. Someone please pm me if you find out what happened to him.

I'm glad to hear so much good talk about Vartha....he was a nice guy....he'll be missed.

I will watch Thor Ragnarok in his memory and honor...thinking man...he would have enjoyed this scene...that moment...this character...etc. I'll be thinking of him.

Oh what??

This is really sudden and out of the blue. He was just posting around these forums a day or two ago. This is very sad and a shock. You never hear about people on forums passing. :csad:

RIP Vartha.

I truly have never seen a more positive poster on this forum in my 11 years lurking/posting here. I hope he gets to see Ragnarok from wherever he is now. :(

Would it be better to move this thread to the community section where everyone can see it and post? I only stumbled upon this by accident when searching for new threads, which I don't do often.

That sucks. I've only interacted with him once or twice but yeah, he did seem like a very nice guy. He was always so... enviably optimistic.

I'm still in shock. Me and Vartha spoke several times about toys and collectables. I never met the guy but I truly am shocked and saddened.

We have an announcement stickied at the top of every forum and people are talking about it in the Community Lounge. This was one of his favorite forums so we started a thread for him here.

RIP Vartha. He was a nice guy, enjoyed reading his posts. Sad news indeed.

This is really surreal. One thing when celebrities die. But Vartha's death feels more personal. It's as if a family member or close friend died.

RIP. Hope you get to see Thor Ragnarok from above.
