Is anyone else watching this? I caught the first 4 episodes over the weekend and I enjoyed it.

Angie Harmon and Sasha Alexandra play really well off each other and Frost and Korsak make for good supporting characters, plus Rizzoli's family angle adds a lighter side to proceedings.

So far the cases have been solid, nothing spectacular but still entertaining.

My mother has been recording the episodes since the Pilot, but I've been too busy to watch..

It doesn't really seem like my kind of show..

This show doesn't interest me. Isles is really hot though.

it kind of remiend me of simon and simon. i like it a lot. my dvr don't get tnt they took away most of mychanel idon't get pasted 13.

Sasha Alexander is hot, but I can't stand MAN-gie Harmon. Her voice is so deep, I swear she's got balls.

Good show so far. Decent cases. I've always liked Angie Harmon...took me a while to remember that Alexander was from first couple of seasons of NCIS.

I never understood why they axed her from that show. I liked her character.

NCIS has a habit of killing off the ladies, though. They capped Lauren Holly and replaced her with that annoying guy with the giant forehead.

I finally saw the first episode. I think I'll like this show. It's nice to see female leads. I like Angie Harmon. I think she is perfect in her role. I'm not fond of Sasha Alexandra and wonder why she is even cast. I hope as I see more I find a reason to like her.

I am liking this show quite a bit I think Angie and Sasha are great in their roles. I think the casting was just great I love Angie's mom and Dad in the show.

I love this show now. It could possibly be my favorite show at the moment. Sasha Alexandra is much better than I thought she was at first. I can't believe they left it with a cliffhanger. Noooooooooooooooo.

Wonder why this show isn't being talked about more, got great viewer ratings & its fun. Anyway growing on me the more I watch it now. And Sensi that clifhanger was good :D

I wonder if it is because there are two strong female lead actresses. I hope people will at least give it a chance and take a look. There are men in it too. :oldrazz:

Having two strong females leads shouldn't be a problem at all. A lot of shows that are hits have female leads; The Closer, Weeds, Nurse Jackie, etc. It worked with Cagney and Lacey back in the 80's, so it shouldn't be a problem now.

You make such a great point. I hope it does well but no one seems to talk about it.

Speaking of Cagney and Lacey, Sharon Glass is so good in Burn Notice. :)

The finale ep for the first season was a nice little Die Hard riff, obviously Jane will be ok but it was a cool final shot.

i seen it coupl times this show remiend me of simion and simon . which Rizzoli & isles re two girls sloving crimes. were simion and simon was two guys slovingcrime.

What a great show. The Jane/Maura friendship is what sustains this show though, in my opinion.

I really love the cast. It took awhile to get used to Harmon's voice, but I can live with it. The only character I hate is Jane's mom. She is so unbeleivable annoying that I can't help but be confused as to why she's a regular.

Oh, and am I the only one who see's lesbian subtext between Jane and Maura? Or am I just noticing things that aren't there?

I,also, don't like Jane's mother. She is annoying. I never thought of the lesbian subtext. To me, they just seem to be really close friends.

So they are adding 4 new characters for the second season:

- Jane's brother Jimmy
- 2 new cops, one a love interest for Jane, the other a rival
- a goth assistant to Isles in the morgue

Sounds good, goth assistant has my attention :D maybe a Abby type (NCIS) lol

I never understood why they axed her from that show. I liked her character.

NCIS has a habit of killing off the ladies, though. They capped Lauren Holly and replaced her with that annoying guy with the giant forehead.

She wanted out apparently... the two reasons i saw were that she was preggers and the other was that she couldn't cope with the punishing schedule they were working under...

Dunno if it's the perv in me... but i saw the lesbian overtures in the first epi...

Interesting show, Hoyt is a good creepy villan... glad to see it's got a 2nd season.... though i hope it's more than 10 episodes

when I saw this advertised on GO!, or was it GEM ?.. anyway, I thought nice one, i been reading the Tess Gerritsen books with these characters and didnt the girls do a cracking job...THEN...the show vanished...I think Angie Harmon is jinxed, her other show, the womens murder club vanished off the tele as well, never to be seen again

This thread is quite old but maybe there are fans of the show still lurking around. The next season will be the final one. The upcoming episodes are still season six so there will be one more shortened season later this year.
