This is the first Batman movie where I'm completely ambivalent and will pretty much ignore it till it drops. Both the actor and director have yet to impress me with anything including their "best works".

I'll watch it cause it's Batman and I have watched them all at the cinema since Batman Returns but because it's Batman I also feel kinda sad that I just don't care even though I'll eventually see it. Honestly Hoult would've intrigued me a lot more.

It's especially jarring to me cause I felt the last 2 guys in the role were perfectly cast. It's also strange. I have finally reached the point where im actually older than Batman. By like 3 years but still. It feels surreal. But at least it's finally settled.

You weren't impressed with Dawn of the Planet of the Apes and War for the Planet of the Apes? Or Cloverfield? Wow, tough critic

I haven't been fortunate enough to see any of Pattinson's recent work, but I absolutely trust Matt Reeves. The last two Apes films were masterpieces in my eyes

The BvS suit is very good in a lot of ways, but the changes for Justice League were not improvements. The JL cowl is just yuck . It has a lot of bad angles with those backwards pointing ears and the Snyder muscle suits are just over the top.

It's funny how Wilkinson knocked Batman's and Superman's suits out of the park the first time around and they messed them with tweaks the second time.

While I appreciate the DKR suit in BVS, it is not the suit I want for a younger, detective Batman.Neal Adams-style all the way. Bring back the long ears! If they want to go darker and keep a Miller-vibe, then Year One is the way to go.

Nah, the JL Batsuit was an improvement over the puffy mess that was the BvS suit IMO. At least Batman had a neck in the JL Cowl. Granted, I was never very keen on either iteration of that Batsuit myself anyway.

That said, I'm hoping we finally get back to the long ears with the new Batsuit. I don't think we'll ever see a true Blue/Gray Batsuit like some folks are suggesting, but I could potentially see Reeves evoking the Batsuit from B:TAS a bit by having a Cape and Cowl that's primarily black with a strong hint of blue.

I should have figured as much. With this exploring a Batman in his early years it wouldn't make that much sense I think.

If they can find a way to include him in the movie without screwing everything up then sure, why not. It's been 22 years since the last live action Robin, and 53 since the last live action Robin that didn't suck.

I'm tired of loner Batman. It's time for something new.

I definitely want to see him at some point, not necessarily in this film, but I’m fine with him being included too. Either way I’d like to see him or other Bat-family members at some point in the next few films, and eventually all of them.

I don’t want anything like the BvS suit, because I am frankly sick of Miller’s influence on cinematic Batman. And I say this as someone who literally has the man’s name as his forum name.

Begone with your stubby ears. No more of your big fat bat. Get out of town with your big puffy muscle suit. Forget about your overdeveloped muscles that would just slow any fighter down and render Batman slow and cumbersome.

Lean. Mean. Fast. Nightmarish. Long ears that cut a disturbing silhouette. A suit built for speed and actual combat. Something that draws on the elemental nature of the character. Something actually more bat like. Pattinson hated Twilight because he never really got to be a vampire. Give him that chance now.

Nah, no more marshmallow man Bats for me, please. Something leaner and sleeker this time around would be preferred. I mean, just looking at that pic I don’t get the impression he could move in that at all. Only thing I'd want them to keep from that would be the use of gray and black. And I'd personally prefer a different-looking material from both that version and the Bale version. Something with a more lightweight cloth/kevlar look.
