Robert Pattinson IS The Batman

Assuming this is the right nomenclature, the "shaggy-haired" look seems to work for him (as Bruce), though.

Compare:

He looks too mild-mannered or something with perfectly combed hair (or maybe it's just the parted style, I don't know).
Why compare those when we have this:

Shaggy hair can fit a "billionaire *****ebag" well, though.

He just looks better with messy hair.

Short or longer hair for Pattinson?
Shorter. I'm not so fond of the slick-back, looks better on page than in practice. Maybe something like or slightly longer. Shorter hair gives him a more calculative strong-man look which is what i think this version needs

Short hair is really the look most would associate with Bruce Wayne.

I'm ok with keeping his natural hair color. Kilmer pulled off "blonde" Bruce. A dye job could look weird. He just needs to work on getting that lean and muscular build since they're going early into his career with this.

If they go for that jet black color, it could end up looking like "soy sauce", but dark brown is definitely doable. Hell, his hair is already kinda brownish as is.

Spider-Man forums had a hair conversation once, I don't know know if the Superman forums had one too, but I'm happy to see this stuff showing up here as well.

Glorious. ;)

I don't see too much of a resemblance to Lee's Bruce here, but I still very much dig that haircut/style for Pattinson's take on the character. It somehow accentuates his jawline.

Yeah, I think it makes him look smart and masculine.

Also, yes or no to stubble guys?

The Superman hair discussions are legendary. What do you think it was that spurred BN's interest in male pattern baldness? :funny:

Said previously never seen Pattinson act, but for me Reeves isa great director and the casting in his previous movies have been superb.

There's your Bruce, right there. :brucebat:

I'd suggest taking a look at Good Time.

Pattinson is a middle class kid from Richmond, London (Barnes to be exact... lovely place. Horrific to park in though).

In Good Times he plays a native New Yorker, and is entirely convincing throughout.

He's clearly an actor who is happy to put his ego aside to perform a role, can play a wide variety of character types, and always appears to have a high level of dedication to his performances.

I could also be describing Christian Bale there... and that comparison is why I started banging the drum about him a while back.

He's going to do a good job, I have no doubt of that. Though, anyone looking for a continuation of the kind of performance Affleck gave is going to be sorely disappointed I think.

Pattinson is going to equate far more to Bale - which can really only be a good thing.
