Robert Rodriguez and 20th Century Fox are giving Predator a facelift in a new film entitled Predators. The announcement came via a news conference today at the Texas-based Troublemaker Studios where Rodriguez was on hand for the signing of a new state film incentive.

"I'm going to be able to shoot my upcoming 'Machete' here, a sci-fi action film called 'Nerverackers,' a re-boot of the 'Predator' series called 'Predators,' and a couple of smaller movies called 'Sin City 2' and 'The Jetsons,'" he told the press.

If you recall, Rodriguez penned a Predator 3 script some time ago that was discarded because it was "too big."

Reboot with Rodriguez? YES. Fox involvement? Meh.
...also nice to hear mention of Sin City 2, likely to be released in 2021.

I'm curious and a bit interested...so long as the gore isn't as cartoony as Dusk 'til Dawn, Planet Terror and even Sin City(to an extent).

I like all three of those movies too by the way).

Although I got a chuckle out of Loud Silent Man and [A]'s comments I will hold judgement untill I see a trailer or some good pics.

Mainly because the two AVP films sucked and I'm happy to hear that at least someone wants to make a Predator film(I've always preferred Predator over Aliens just a bit more).

Sin City 2 is so dead to me it's not even funny anymore. Sin City was nice for the novelty. It got old after a few viewings. Make a ****ing real movie Rodriguez.

I don't think it's a remake just another film. If it's a film about more than one predator primarily hunting humans that could be sweet. Or it could suck ass.

he should be focusing on Sin City 2 not being tugged around and give us crap product as Foxs Expenense... cuz thats what will happen, he will have a vision for "Predators" and fox will come in and take a crap on it.
